Pier 2/3

 Pier 2/3 is a historic wharf building located at Walsh Bay Arts Precinct in Sydney, next to Sydney Harbour. It includes performance and event venues such as ACO On The Pier, ATYP and Bell Shakespeare.

The area around the building mainly has hard concrete flooring, which is mostly flat. The waterfront pathway is very wide, with few obstacles and plenty of space for wheelchair users to move and turn around. However, the open waterfront pathway has no overhead cover. Some areas have fixed posts, drains and other facilities. There are also some gaps and slightly uneven areas on the ground.

There are walking areas at different levels outside the building, connected by ramps and stairs. The ramps have metal handrails and safety railings on both sides. Wheelchair users can use the ramps to move between different levels. Some ramps have a slope, so wheelchair users may need to take extra care.

There are lifts inside the building, providing access from the Ground Floor to other levels. Wheelchair users can reach the main public areas and performance spaces without using the stairs. The lift entrances are almost level with the surrounding floor, with no obvious steps. The lifts are spacious and have handrails.

The indoor areas mainly have wooden flooring, which is mostly flat. The main public areas are open and spacious, with wide pathways. Some public areas have standard-height small tables and movable chairs, which can be moved if more space is needed.

Accessible toilets are available on every level of Pier 2/3. The toilets have clear wheelchair signs, grab rails.

 For public transport, Barangaroo Metro Station is about a 900-metre walk along Hickson Road from Walsh Bay Arts Precinct. Bus routes 324 and 325 also stop nearby on Hickson Road.

Accessible parking spaces are available near 5 Hickson Road. Other nearby public car parks include Bond One, Barangaroo Point and Barangaroo Reserve.
