Saint Peter is an accessible pescatarian restaurant located on Oxford Street in Paddington.  The venue offers step free access but the restaurant has limited space with only 22 seats available.  

There is a fixed 12-metre Carrara marble-topped bar, with kitchen on one side of the bench & diners on the other with moveable brown leather stools.  The open kitchen allows the chefs more cooking space, while also giving diners an opportunity to watch the action.

The wine list emphasises Australian makers, & cocktails use locally made gins and whiskies. There's a bar area to sit at, if you're just looking to stop by for a drink & a snack.

Accessible parking can be found at The Gordon on Newcombe Street.  An accessible toilet can be found around 2km away with adult change at the Australian Museum on William Street.

Paddo Inn

The Wolharra Hotel is a large pub located in the heart of Wolharra, offering a variety of distinctive Australian pub dishes, drinks, and special deals. They also host events during the week to capture your attention and keep you entertained.

The main entrance to the hotel is flat and wide, providing easy access for wheelchairs. The lower level of the venue is easy to navigate, with plenty of seating options available. You can place your order at the bar, and the staff will bring it to your table, or you can request assistance from your table if needed.

A lift is conveniently located in front of  the main entrance, allowing access to the upper level. Upstairs, you’ll find accessible restrooms close to the open garden area. When you come out of the lift, go straight on and see the garden area in front of you, then on your left, you will see the accessible toilets.

You can follow the numerous signs all along the venue to guide you towards the most accessible areas.

The entire venue is wheelchair accessible, with generous spacing between tables, making it easy to choose the most comfortable seating for your needs.

The only area that is not wheelchair accessible is the smoking area, which has a step. However, if you’d like a smoking break, you can always take the lift back downstairs and step outside for a moment

However, if you are visiting, oxford street is right around the corner while Bootsdarling Café rests in a tranquil corner in South Dowling Street.

Simon Says Juice in Darlinghurst is a renowned café celebrated for its fresh juices and healthy offerings.

They’ve recently given the place a fun makeover, making the ground level way more accessible and welcoming. The door is wider, so getting in with your mobility device is a breeze! Just a heads-up: the seating has booth tables, so your device might have to hang out at the end of the booth in the middle of the venue, which could make it tricky for others to get by. But we think it’ll work out just fine! They’ve added a couple of small tables in front of the counter facing the street, making it easy to have a quick stop while waiting for the bus or passing by.

One major inconvenience is the lack of restrooms, which means you’ll need to head to the nearest local pub, The Beacham (10 meters), which has accessible toilets. However, keep in mind that it may not open very early in the morning if you’re an early bird.

Their famous juices are a hit all around Sydney, and the new menu includes a variety of smoothies and bowls, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and a sustainable twist.

Tento is tucked away in a hidden spot at 3/8 Hill Street, Surry Hills. To access the venue, you’ll need to ascend a few steps, but the good news is that a lift chair is available for assistance. Please call the venue in advance to ensure they can accommodate your arrival, as the lift chair is the only way to access the restaurant. Once you’ve used the lift chair, the pathway to the venue is flat.

The café offers a spacious outdoor seating area in front of the main kiosk and counter, as well as an indoor dining space. The indoor area is easily accessible, with a wide and open threshold, allowing you to choose between the terrace and the indoors. The friendly staff are always ready to assist and ensure a comfortable experience at Tento.

Michael's is a counter-service cafe located at the Cosmopolitan Centre offering gourmet sandwiches, salads, and cakes. There is a step at the outdoor entrance of the venue, although it can be easily accessed through the cafe's entrance from inside the shopping centre, whose step-free entrance is located next to the cafe. Seating inside is reasonably spacious, and there are also outside tables available. While the cafe itself does not contain accessible toilets, both accessible toilets and parking are available inside the Cosmopolitan Centre.

Michael's

Michael's Double Bay

Cosmopolitan Centre is a shopping centre in Double Bay, which includes a number of accessible cafes, restaurants, and retail stores offering luxury and style. The entrances into Cosmopolitan Centre are step-free providing ramps at the entrances of the center with wide thresholds. The centre also contains accessible parking spaces in its car park. Cosmopolitan Centre is completely accessible, with its floors having flat surfaces and providing step-free access into the stores, while lifts provide access between the different levels of the shopping centre. Accessible toilets are also available inside the centre, quite spacious and easy to reach.

Darlinghurst Courthouse was constructed in 1835-1845 in response to overcrowding issues at King Street Courts.  It was the first purpose-built criminal court in the colony and has been used ever since as a courthouse. The District Court took up residence in the early 1900s, and a new wing to the courthouse was added. In the 1920s, the newly founded High Court moved in, and additional courts were built. Today, Darlinghurst Courts constitute seven courtrooms and hears Supreme Court and District Court matters.

Access to the Courthouse is limited for those with mobility issues  due to it being a historical budiling. Entry is via Oxford Street and a ramp will be deployed to provide access to the venue and an accessible bathroom with be available on-site during the Sydney Festival.

Darlinghurst Courthouse

In 1835, Governor Bourke, in response to the overcrowding and chaotic state of King Street Courts, directed the design of a courthouse outside Sydney Town, on the hill opposite the new goal. This was for convenient prisoner access and to separate criminal from civil matters.

Designed by colonial architect Mortimer Lewis, the Greek-revivalist building was completed in 1845. It was the first purpose-built criminal court in the colony and has been used ever since as a courthouse. The District Court took up residence in the early 1900s, and a new wing to the courthouse was added. In the 1920s, the newly founded High Court moved in, and additional courts were built. Today, Darlinghurst Courts constitute seven courtrooms and hears Supreme Court and District Court matters.

Guilfoyle Park is a small, shady park that features a community market at the square every Thursday. The grassy section of the park does not have any pathways, but the park square has a flat, paved surface suitable for wheelchairs. There are no accessible toilets or accessible parking located directly at the park, but they are both available across the road from Bay Street inside the Cosmopolitan Shopping Centre.

Guilfoyle Park

Darlo Bar in Sydney is a laid-back, retro pub in Darlinghurst with a fun, relaxed vibe. It’s a local favorite with a quirky, vintage interior that gives off a cool, eclectic feel.
