Bar 1880 is a speakeasy-type bar located in the historic Bulletin Place building.  Once home to the publishing house of one of the country’s longest-running magazines, Bulletin Magazine, which was published from 1880 all the way through to 2008.

Bar 1880 has two levels: downstairs, you’ll find the ‘Headline Bar’ with alfresco laneway seating on Bulletin Place.   Upstairs is the ‘Press Room’ with lush bar, uneven floorboards that still carry the marks of the original printing press, painted deep blue walls, low lighting, sepia photographs & old newspaper clippings .

Room between the tables is generous and in case there isn't enough just inform the staff and they will allocate the tables. All tables have wheels so it is easy to move them. Accessible toilets can be found on site but they are not specifically for wheelchair users. 
The venue is surrounded by many construction sites therefore it is not easy to find a designated parking spot but there will be spots at the opera.

A lift in the lobby of Customs House takes you up to the front desk of Cafe Sydney (Customs House is a fully accessible library and information centre located across the road from Circular Quay train station). Ramp access is available at the main entrance of the building via 2 ramps. In Cafe Sydney itself,  a limited range of seating is available due to stairs in some parts. There are accessible toilets on site. Customs House has two unisex accessible toilets. One can be found on the ground floor behind the magazine collection. The other on level 1 and has a left hand side transfer. There is no on-site dedicated accessible parking at Customs House. There are 2 on-street mobility parking spaces 250m away on the western side of Pitt Street, south of Alfred Street. The closest paid public parking stations are behind the Gateway building (Underwood Street opposite the Marriott Hotel on Pitt Street), the Sir Stamford Hotel (93 Macquarie Street) and the Sydney Opera House. Access from the street is easy and the area nearby is flat all the way from Circular Quay station.

The Macquarie Place Park is an heritage-listed, small triangular urban park located in the central business district of Sydney. The park is situated on the corner of Bridge Street and Loftus Street. It is named in honour of Governor Lachlan Macquarie. Macquarie Place Park is a partially accessible park. There is step-free access via Bridge Street, but not all areas are step-free and therefore inaccessible. In the accessible parts the terrain is hard and flat. The park is surrounded by a few accessible Cafés which is nice for a break. There are no playgrounds, picnic areas or barbecue areas in the park. Also accessible toilets are not available. The Russell Hotel is accessible to wheelchair users from the rear entrance. It offers a small amount of wheelchair friendly rooms with roll in showers. However the rooms are pretty small and there is not much space to maneuver within the room. There are two pubs within the hotel which are accessible by wheelchair. There are also plenty of shops and cafes in the immediate surrounding.
The venue does have its own car park which is free of charge but without designated accessible parking spots. The route from the car park to the entrance is accessible to a wheelchair user with assistance. Assistance may be required because there are slopes/ramps. But there is also a Wilson carpark nearby.

Step-free access into and throughout the venue is complimented by plenty of accessible seating. There is also an accessible toilet on site.

A very easy café to meet in. Lots of space inside, a variety of seating options, and an accessible toilet. The only downside is no outside seating.

Quay West Suites is inaccessible to wheelchair users. The hotel has no rooms suitable for wheelchair access and not all areas of the hotel can be accessed step-free. Plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes are available in the immediate surrounding.
