Bar 1880 is a speakeasy-type bar located in the historic Bulletin Place building.  Once home to the publishing house of one of the country’s longest-running magazines, Bulletin Magazine, which was published from 1880 all the way through to 2008.

Bar 1880 has two levels: downstairs, you’ll find the ‘Headline Bar’ with alfresco laneway seating on Bulletin Place.   Upstairs is the ‘Press Room’ with lush bar, uneven floorboards that still carry the marks of the original printing press, painted deep blue walls, low lighting, sepia photographs & old newspaper clippings .

The Macquarie Place Park is an heritage-listed, small triangular urban park located in the central business district of Sydney. The park is situated on the corner of Bridge Street and Loftus Street. It is named in honour of Governor Lachlan Macquarie. Macquarie Place Park is a partially accessible park. There is step-free access via Bridge Street, but not all areas are step-free and therefore inaccessible. In the accessible parts the terrain is hard and flat. The park is surrounded by a few accessible Cafés which is nice for a break. There are no playgrounds, picnic areas or barbecue areas in the park. Also accessible toilets are not available. The closest accessible parking facilities can be found in the Wilson carpark on Underwood Street.

There is no toilet located at the park, the closest facilities are at Circular Quay Train Station.

First Fleet Park

The Blue Bar at the Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney is  a cocktail bar located on the 36th floor and offers stunning views of the city and harbor. 

The Shangri-La building provides accessible features, including ramps and elevators, to accommodate guests with mobility needs. You can access the Blue Bar through the main lobby of the Shangri-La Hotel which is step-free. Elevators directly connect to the higher floors where the bar is located. The space is restricted, however, the staff are able to allocate tables to ensure enough room for wheelchair users.

The hotel is located near Circular Quay and Wynyard train stations, both of which are accessible via wheelchair and other mobility aids. Taxis and rideshare services can also drop off directly at the hotel entrance in a secured way. Designated parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark around 100 meters away.

There are accessible toilets on site. Customs House has two unisex accessible toilets. One can be found on the ground floor behind the magazine collection. The other on level 1 and has a left hand side transfer. There is no on-site dedicated accessible parking at Customs House. There are 2 on-street mobility parking spaces 250m away on the western side of Pitt Street, south of Alfred Street. The closest paid public parking stations are behind the Gateway building (Underwood Street opposite the Marriott Hotel on Pitt Street), the Sir Stamford Hotel (93 Macquarie Street) and the Sydney Opera House. Access from the street is easy and the area nearby is flat all the way from Circular Quay station.

The venue is surrounded by many construction sites therefore it is not easy to find a designated parking spot but there will be spots at the opera.

Located at the Alfred Street side of Circular Quay train station, Banh You is an accessible Vietnamese street food outlet. There is step-free access to the takeaway counter, which is at a good height for wheelchair users. This is purely a takeaway and there is no seating or toilets available.

Serving coffee, sandwiches and pastries from the Alfred Street side of Circular Quay train station, Ground Control Cafe is accessible to wheelchair users. Entry is step-free and the counter is accessible, but the seating area is very cramped for space. There is no outdoor seating and no toilet on site.
Designated parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark on George Street.

Customs House is a fully accessible library and information centre located across the road from Circular Quay train station. There is step-free access via a ramp outside the main entrance and a lift providing step-free access to each floor inside. Customs House also has accessible toilets, as well as being home to three restaurants.

Wide sliding doorway, easily accessible through a wide well-paved and flat lane way very near the Museum of Contemporary Art. One of the best accessible toilets and parents rooms in The Rocks area just off George Street. Clean and well maintained.

ASLAN Coffee Roasters is a small niche accessible coffee shop, with outdoor seating.  Easily accessible to look at food on display or coffee menu and order with wheelchair access.
There is no indoor seating or toilets but they can be found at Customs House Library, parking at Quay West

Access is via stairs from George Street with accessible access via rear courtyard. A flat wide laneway leads to the rear courtyard. An accessible toilet is also located in the rear courtyard.

Megumi Sushi is an accessible takeaway food outlet located in Circular Quay train station. There are no steps leading up to the counter, which is an accessible height for wheelchair users. This is purely a takeaway and there is no seating or toilets available.

The Bridge Room is an inaccessible restaurant on Bridge Street serving modern Australian cuisine. A step at the entrance and the lack of a portable ramp prevent access to the venue, which also has two steps down to the toilets inside.

Tucked away on the corner of side road off of Bridge Street, Tokonoma is an inaccessible Japanese restaurant. The only entrance to the venue has a large step up to the door and there is no portable ramp on site to assist with entry.

Located in Customs House, Young Alfred is an accessible bar and restaurant serving Italian cuisine. Ramps outside the front of Customs House enable access to the entrance and indoor seating area. The venue also features an outside seating area and accessible unisex toilets.

Situated opposite the Museum of Contemporary Art, The Baker's Oven Cafe is inaccessible for wheelchair users via both of its George Street and Nurses Walk entrances. Access to the outside seating area is possible but difficult via Nurses Walk. There are no accessible toilets on site.

A fully accessible station. Beyond the entry barriers are four lifts to the left and right taking you to the two platforms. It is worth bearing in mind that, at certain times, the volume of people and tourists with suitcases means that you might have to wait for an empty lift.

Susannah Place Museum is inaccessible to wheelchair users. There are steps leading up to the entrance as well as providing access into the venue itself. There is no portable ramp to enable entry.

Circular Quay, Wharf 6 is an accessible ferry terminal. There is step-free access into and throughout the terminal, which is fully manned and has a portable boarding ramp to enable wheelchair access onto the ferries.

Graze is an accessible restaurant serving modern Australian cuisine. There is step-free access into and throughout the venue, which offers accessible seating inside and out. There are also accessible toilets on site. 
Accessible parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark at the overseas passenger terminal.

Hungry Jack's is a takeaway fast food outlet located in Circular Quay train station. There are accessible areas for ordering but not for eating in.  There are no toilets on site, but public facilities are available nearby. Closest accessible parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark on George Street.

Royal Copenhagen Ice Cream Cone Co is an inaccessible gelato shop located in The Rocks. The entrance to the shop is not step-free and there is no portable ramp to enable access to the counter and small indoor seating area.

Rendezvous Hotel Sydney is inaccessible to wheelchair users. There are no rooms suitable for wheelchair access and not all areas of the hotel can be accessed step-free.
However parking is available in Wilson Parking located within the hotel which $45 per 24 hours.
