    On-street accessible parking

These two accessible parking bays are in the car park beside the Breakwall at Town Beach, close to the painted rocks the area is known for. The bays sit side by side, separated by a white line, with a blue wheelchair symbol painted on each. The paint is quite faded and worn, and a sign on a pole nearby shows accessible parking. The asphalt here is old and patchy, with some rough and uneven spots, so take care if you’re using a wheelchair or mobility aid. A timber post fence and dune plants run along the back of the car park. The breakwall path is a pleasant place for a walk, as the main path is paved and relatively flat, and there are views of the Hastings River and Town Beach. There’s a free car park by the breakwall.
