This accessible parking bay is on William Street in Port Macquarie, right by Town Beach and the foreshore park. You'll see the ocean from the bay, and it's directly across the road from Mantra The Observatory. The bay is marked with a blue and white wheelchair symbol, and a striped zone beside it gives you extra room to get in and out. A yellow-and-red-and-white bollard marks the edge of that zone. Next to the bay, a kerb ramp leads up to the footpath, which joins a wide, smooth terracotta-coloured concrete path through the park. Follow it and you'll reach the Gaol Point Lookout signpost, which shows what's nearby, including Town Beach and the public toilets, the Coastal Walk, the Koala Hospital and the Glasshouse Regional Art Gallery. There are benches along the grass if you want to stop and enjoy the view.
