Molonglo Reach District Park is a narrow strip of riverside parkland between the Molonglo River and the Royal Military College, Duntroon.

The park offers good access to the bank of the river, making it great for a picnics and taking in the sights. It is filled with non-native deciduous tree species, which change colour in autumn.

The terrain is a mix of grass, paths and gravel, so easy to navigate a wheelchair.

The International Brigade Memorial is located in Canberra Nara Peace Park & commemorates the 70 Australian volunteers who fought in the International Brigades on the Republican side in the Spanish Civil War.

The monument is a wall of sandstone blocks with red brick courses accessed via paved level pathway approach.  There is a low sandstone & brick parapet on its north east side.  On the wall is a bronze plaque above a bas relief map of the Iberian peninsular showing where towns where major battles took place during the war
