Molonglo Reach District Park is a narrow strip of riverside parkland between the Molonglo River and the Royal Military College, Duntroon.

The park offers good access to the bank of the river, making it great for a picnics and taking in the sights. It is filled with non-native deciduous tree species, which change colour in autumn.

The terrain is a mix of grass, paths and gravel, so easy to navigate a wheelchair.

Mount Pleasant Lookout is in Duntroon Canberra , right at the very top where you can see beautiful views of Lake Burley Griffin also  Duntroon Royal Military College and Jerrabomberra Wetlands.

Great signage provided of the views and historical information like  General Bridges, Australia’s highest ranking soldier in World War I. General Bridges was the only Australian soldier killed at Gallipoli to be buried in Australia.

The lookout is opened from 6am to 7pm, has easy access to parking and the lookout, which is all paved terrain.

No toilets provided closest  is  Campbell Public toilet a 5 minute drive which is wheelchair accessible with parking available opened from 7am to 8pm.

Hello Cafe is an accessible venue offering step free entry via paved pathway approach.

The cafe has freestanding tables & chairs inside along with accessible outdoor seating & tables.  

Accessible toilets can be found 55m away at Campbell Neighbourhood Oval & just under 1km away at the Australian War Memorial.  Accessible parking spots can be found just outside.

Les Bistronomes  is an accessible French fine dining restaurant with step free access via paved pathway approach.

The dining room is decorated French style, warm & dimly lit, with dark wooden panelling & red velvet curtains. There are non fixed tables & chairs along with high stools at the bar.  Space may be limited during busy periods but furniture can be moved.  

There is an accessible parking spot right outside the restaurant.  Further accessible parking can be found at Car Park 46 & 47 on Reg Saunders Way.  

Accessible toilets can be found closeby at Campbell Neighbourhood Oval & Australian War Memorial.

There is a tiny kitchen garden out the back which produces fresh herbs for the restaurant, but it’s the community spirit that informs the restaurant’s seasonal dishes. Locals are invited to donate their surplus homegrown produce for a percentage off their next meal.

Department of Pizza is an accessible venue offering an unique dining experience focused on Neapolitan style wood-fire pizza, Italian cuisine, substantial local & Italian wine list 

The venue features a long, narrow layout with high ceilings, long bar with stool seating, window bar seating with stools, long communal table, freestanding tables & chairs both inside & outside.  There is step free entry via paved level pathway approach.

Accessible toilets can be found in the Campbell Shops & Neighbourhood Oval.  Parking can be found the the car park right outside. 

Department of Pizza

Just Wok is an accessible Chinese eatery & takeaway located in Blamey Place, Campbell.  

The venue offers Step free entry to large glass doors via paved level pathway approach.  Inside is spacious with easy access to the counter & fridge.  There are limited freestanding tables & chairs inside & even less outside.

There is a disabled bay just outside the venue & accessible toilets under 100m away at Campbell Neighbourhood Oval & just under 1km away the Australian War Memorial.

Just Wok

The Bloom is an accessible cafe serving coofee, breakfast, lunch & a selection of pastries located on Blamey Place, Campbell.

The Bloom offers step free entry via paved pathway approach to double doors with easy access to the counter.  Inside there are freestanding tables & chairs, high communal benches with stools & further outside seating area.

Accessible toilets are closeby just 50m away at Campbell Shops & Campbell Neighbourhood Oval.  There is a disabled parking spot just outside the cafe along with plenty of regular parking.

The Bloom

Pialligo Bakesmith is an accessible cafeserving breakfast pastries, brunch & lunch in the garden surrounds of 12 Beltana Road, Pialligo. 

The venue offers paved level pathway approach through the gardens dotted with tables & chairs.  Inside is spacious with access to the counter & large covered deck which overlooks the lush trees and gardens.

Accessible toilets can be found at Dailry Road (Water Ski Area) & parking onsite. 

The Pialligo Bakesmith

The Boat House is an accessible fine dining restaurant situated along the scenic banks of Lake Burley Griffin.

The venue offers step free entry via decked ramp.  The deck also wraps around the venue with seating overlooking the lake including low & high tables with stools . Inside features white table-clothed freestanding tables & chairs.  The venue is a popular venue for weddings due to it's gorgeous location.

Accessible parking & toilets can be found onsite.  Further accessible toilets can be found under 1km away at Boundless PLayground.  

The Boat House

Borella Street car park is an uncovered car park with multiple regular places available.  

The car park is open from Mon-Fri 8:30am - 5:00pm charging $3.80 per hour.

Off-street accessible parking

Beltana Farm is located in the Pialligo enclave of Canberra & features a trufferie of over 800 trees & an accessible restaurant 

The restaurant offers step free entry via paved level pathway approach to large open window doors.  Inside is spacious with the main dining area walls of glass overlooking the 800-tree truffle orchard on one side & the tiny village of yurts in the other.  The covered pavilion is anchored around a massive stone fireplace with large Chesterfield sofa & armchairs.  The dining areas are accessible & feature freestanding tables & chairs.  To one side of the main pavilion is a smaller pavilion with a private dining room seating up to 30.

Beltana Farm also offers truffle hunting tours & to stay in a clutch of luxury yurts or 2 bedroom cottage.  Due to mobilty restraints some of the accomodation may not be accessible.  

A large car park can be found onsite with disabled parking spots & accessible toilets are available. 

Beltana Farm

Grevillea District Park is a 13.5 hectare area on the northern shore of Lake Burley Griffin’s East Basin with views over the lake to Jerrabomberra Wetlands, Kingston & Parliament House.

The park offers great pedestrian and cycle access to explore Lake Burley Griffin and the Molonglo River with paved level pathways throughout. 

The sandy beach and boat ramp provide easy access for watercraft (power boats are prohibited). Model boats also use the area.  Dogs are welcome on-leash. 

Accessible toilets can be dfound under 500m away at Boundless Playground & Kings Park.

Grevillea Park

Boundless Playground Kings Park has a large uncovered car park containing forty-one (41) regular parking spaces, four (4) disability parking spaces 

There is a concrete pavement at the carpark and playground entrance.

Accessible toilets can be found at the playground.

Boundless – The Centenary of Canberra National Playground, is located on the shore of Lake Burley Griffin at Kings Park & is Canberra's first all abilities playground.

Boundless is a fully enclosed free, state-of-the-art play space that is fun and inclusive of all children of all ages & abilities.

There are 3 zones within the playground, zone 1 consists of multiple tunnel slides, fireman climbing pole, stepping bridges, covered viewing platform turrerts, toddler playground, wheelchair accessible merry-go-round & Green space to chill out.  

Zone 2 has a easy roll bike path leading to a giant sand pit & sealed digger excavator. There’s a wheelchair friendly aero-glider rocker for multiple kids.

Zone 3 has a giant shade sail that covers the swings in this area including an all-abilities swing & huge net swing.

There is bench seating all round, accessible pahtways throughout, BBQs, picnic area & accessible amenities. 

The park has limited on-site parking, but additional parking spaces are available across Parkes Way with pedestrian access via the intersection and connecting path.

Boundless Playground

Lanterne Rooms is located in the ground floor of the Iskia East Building located on Constitution Ave, Campbell.  The pan–Asian eatery is known for its bold Nyonya flavours, dishes with a ‘A-ma’ (grandma) soul.

The venue offers step free entry via paved pathway approach to large glass doors.  Inside are freestanding tables & chairs a private dining room, Lanterne Bar & glassed-house outdoor covered atrium dining 

Parking is available on the ground floor of the the Iskia Building, as well as basement level 1 (enter via driveway at 81 Constitution Avenue). A public car park nearby can be entered via Borella St.  There is one disabled spot avilable. 

Accessible toilets can be found onsite along with further accesible toilets over 2km away at Ampol Braddon. 

A selection of old favourites from Lanterne Rooms are now available to order. Everything is cooked and ready for you to enjoy. Available Tuesday - Saturday 6pm - 8pm.

Lanterne Rooms

Changi Chapel is an accessible memorial, originally constructed by prisoners of war in Changi Camp, Singapore Island, in 1944.  After the war, it was returned to Australia, erected in the grounds of the Royal Military College & dedicated as a national memorial to all Australian prisoners of war.

The memorial is sited on a grass clearing with large established eucalyptus trees, accessed via a paved level pathway approach.  Access may be subject to Defence's operational and security requirements.

Accessible toilets can be found at Campbell Neighbourhood Oval.  Regular parking can be found closeby.
