George St Council Car Park (Recommended):

Access: This multi-level car park provides step-free exit via lifts directly to the Elsie Street area, a short distance from the café.

Payment Concession: When displaying a valid NSW Mobility Parking Scheme (MPS) permit, parking is FREE in this council car park.

Location: Metered street parking spaces are available on Elsie Street and surrounding areas.

Payment Concession: When displaying a valid NSW MPS permit, parking is FREE in metered/ticketed zones, and time limits are extended significantly (e.g., a 1-hour limit becomes 2 hours).

T & B Cafe

Russel park is a small grassy area with a walking path along Fivedock Bay. There isn’t any accessible parking near the park but lots of street parking especially out of peak times.

There are bathrooms in the park however they are located across the grass area and also not dedicated accessible bathrooms. There is also a playground across the road part of the park, here there are some bench’s and gazebos however little to no accessible play equipment.

Wire mill reserve is a beautiful waterfront pathway / park along Abbotsford Bay. There are few accessible entrances, due to many of the entrances / exits being up stairs or through the apartment blocks with hilly terrain. The main accessible entrance I located is along the path between Allison Park. This is a long walkway up and down hills however there is a constant paved path through this area and is still a pleasant walk.

Due to this distance there is little to no accessible parking or normal parking at all as the reserve is surrounded by buildings and the bay, parking to come to this park would mean parking somewhere closer to Campbell or Allison parks. Once in the park there are some benches however it’s mainly just a walking track along the bay.

There are no bathrooms, the closest one being at the Campbell Park clubhouse which is quite far away and difficult to access from this area. 

Wire Mill Reserve

Stadium Australia (ANZ Stadium or before that Telstra Stadium) is in the Sydney Olympic Park. As you would expect from a modern stadium, it has many purpose-built wheelchair spaces (with companion seats next to each one). Access is easy from the new train station; a smooth roll (albeit a slightly long 10 to 20 minute one; this can be a bit tiresome if you are seated on the far side). Crowds tend to be large so for some particular events, it can be a good idea to delay leaving the stadium.
