    Ashfield Station is an Independent Access station with full lift access between the street/concourse and all platforms.

    1. Station Access and Lifts

    Lifts: Multiple accessible lifts provide access to all operating platforms (e.g., Platforms 3, 4, 5).

    Accessible Gates: Wide, clearly marked accessible gates are available on the Concourse for tapping your Opal Card or contactless payment.

    Access Route Example (Road to Platform):

    Enter from Brown Street.

    Use the Accessible Entry Gate on the Concourse.

    Take the Accessible Lift to the required platform level.

    2. Accessible Toilet

    Location: Unisex Accessible Toilet (MLAK) is situated on the Concourse/Platform Level. Follow station signage.

    Key Required: Requires a Master Locksmith Access Key (MLAK) for entry.

    Staff Help: Station staff can unlock the toilet for customers without an MLAK during staffed hours.

    3. Accessible Parking & Park & Ride

    Location: Transport Park & Ride Car Park on Brown Street.

    Accessible Parking Spaces: Dedicated wheelchair accessible spots are available within the car park.

    Park & Ride Scheme:

    Charge: Parking is FREE for up to 18 hours per day.

    Requirement for Free Parking: Customers must complete a valid public transport trip (tap on/off the train) using the same accepted payment card used to enter the car park. Casual fees apply otherwise.

    4. Staff Assistance

    Staffing: Ashfield Station is permanently staffed.

    Assistance Provided: Staff provide Wheelchair Ramp Boarding Assistance to help customers safely board and alight the train.

    How to Get Help: Wait in the clearly marked Boarding Assistance Zone on the platform. Staff will assist or notify the train guard.
