Burwood Park has several wide, mostly level and step-free brick or concrete paths connecting the main entrances, memorial area, playground, picnic shelters, seating areas and open lawns. The main paths appear spacious enough for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and prams, and there are clear maps and directional signs throughout the park. The memorial area and covered shelter have firm, paved surfaces with plenty of room to move around. However, some brick paths appear slightly uneven, and there are raised kerbs or small surface changes between the paths, grass and garden areas. Access across the lawn may also be difficult for wheelchair users, especially after rain. The playground is fenced and appears to be reached by a paved path, but the accessibility of the play equipment itself is unclear from the photos. But, there is no accessible toilet. Overall, the main areas of the park appear reasonably accessible, although users may need assistance in some uneven or unpaved sections.
