This large, unfenced playground is located behind Bronte Beach and is surrounded by Bronte Park. The space is partially shaded and accessed via a narrow-paved pathway that leads to a grassed park area; however, there is no direct paved entry into the playground itself. The playground caters to babies, toddlers, and older children, making it a popular destination for family outings, picnics, and birthday celebrations. Most areas of the play space are surfaced with mulch and soft‑fall material, which enhances comfort and safety but limits accessibility for wheelchair users. Paved concrete pathways with seating areas surround the play equipment, providing circulation and viewing areas around the playground. A variety of interactive play equipment supports active play, including swings, slides, see‑saws, and climbing structures. A starfish‑shaped sandpit is a standout feature that encourages imaginative play. Trees are planted throughout the playground, creating pockets of natural shade. Additional seating options include sheltered picnic tables with fixed benches located near the play space and accessed via surrounding grassed areas. An accessible public restroom is located nearby toward the beach and can be reached via paved connecting pathways. Accessible parking is available within Bronte Park near the middle entrance, with three designated accessible parking spaces. Public transport access is also convenient, with a bus terminal located nearby on Bronte Street.
