Woodstock Community Centre is a highly accessible historic landmark and community meeting point located on Church Street in Burwood.
Access to the building is straightforward via an external accessible ramp, which leads directly into the indoor areas. Inside, surfaces are flat and easy to navigate, making movement comfortable for people using mobility aids or those requiring step-free access.
The ground floor is fully accessible. At the end of the corridor, on the right-hand side, there is an accessible toilet. The door is manually operated, and the grab rails are positioned on the right-hand side of the toilet.
Accessible parking is available nearby at 195A Burwood Road, Burwood NSW 2134, as well as additional accessible parking spaces along Burwood Road.
There is also an alternative access point to the complex via the Fitzroy Centre, which is annexed to Woodstock Community Centre. Entry through Fitzroy Lane provides access to additional parking, including two designated accessible parking spaces.
Accessible toilet facilities are available within both the Woodstock and Fitzroy buildings. Additionally, there are outdoor accessible toilets located directly in front of the parking area, which can be reached via a curb ramp.
