Towards the park
Tumbalong Park is very wheelchair friendly. The Terrain is flat and smooth and within the park you can either find ramps or lifts to access other areas. The park is completely accessible, there are no areas which a wheelchair user cannot access. The park has two big picnic and playground areas where everyone can take a break and enjoy the park. There is accessible parking on Wheat Road in Darling Harbour. You will find 6 designated parking spots which are generally free of charge. Wheelchair users will also find an accessible public toilet.
Also the Darling Quarter Car Park is an underground parking area right under Darling Quarter, very close to Tumbalong Park just a short 1–3 minute walk away. It has easy lift access, so moving between levels is simple and step-free. On the B1 level, there are around 15 accessible parking spaces, placed close to the lifts for convenience. From there, it’s an easy and smooth walk straight into Darling Quarter and Tumbalong Park. Just near the lift accessible toilets are available to use. There is also another accessible toilet at Darling Harbour Children's Playground which is -2min walk from Tumbalong Park.
