Molonglo Reach District Park is a narrow strip of riverside parkland between the Molonglo River and the Royal Military College, Duntroon.

The park offers good access to the bank of the river, making it great for a picnics and taking in the sights. It is filled with non-native deciduous tree species, which change colour in autumn.

The terrain is a mix of grass, paths and gravel, so easy to navigate a wheelchair.

Stepping Stone operates a sustainable food business while providing hospitality-based employment, on-the-job training, and partnering with registered organisations to offer certified qualifications to women who face multiple barriers when seeking stable employment.

Residents can apply for permanent or casual roles at the café. They gain an income, hands-on experience and skills and qualifications through registered training organisations.

Stepping Stone is designed to be welcoming and supportive for migrant, refugee, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women. It offers flexible rostering, adaptive training tools, on-the-job training and a menu that reflects the cultural diversity of the staff.

The decor is simple & minimalist, with wooden tables, chairs & greenery.  The cafe is well-lit, with large full glass frontage windows that let in plenty of natural light, creating a bright & airy feel. The seating is comfortable, & the cafe provides both indoor & outdoor seating options with a large alfresco area .

Fav Cup is an accessible London Circuit Cafe offering step free access via paved pathway approach in this prime location (just around the corner from Hobart Place).  

Inside the venue has limited space but easy access to the counter.  There are a few tables inside with fixed banquette seating one side & space opposite.  Outside seating & tables are also available.

Fav Cup specalises in bagels with a menu packed full of plain, sesame, jalapeno and cheese, blueberry, & Milo bagels, adding some Asian hints to the fillings while also keeping the ordinary cream-cheese style.  There are other options if bagels are not your thing with any spread or sandwich option on gluten-free sourdough, ciabatta rolls or tortilla wraps.  There are also salad options & snack cabinet with goodies like almond croissants, banana bread, salted rye chocolate cookies, & vanilla yoghurt granola.  They also roast a small batch of their own coffee, make everything fresh in-store & menu options are available for dine-in or takeaway.

The Sebel Campbell is a modern and seemingly well maintained, no-frills room only hotel situated between the airport and the CBD (1 km away).

The room I stayed in was clean and functional, with plenty of space to manoeuvre my wheelchair. There was space on either side of the large double bed to fit my wheelchair. The bathroom was also easy to get into and navigate around.
