Telopea Park is an 8 hectare space in Barton with picnic and playground areas, parking, cycle and pedestrian paths, accessible public toilets and barbecues.
Created in 1922, Telopea Park is named after the floral emblem of New South Wales, also known as the Waratah. It features an informal mix of mature exotic and native trees, and is a popular venue for family picnics. It attracts pedestrians and cyclists from Kingston and Manuka.
