    About this place

    Bowen Park is a 6 hectare lakeside park on Lake Burley Griffin’s East Basin in Barton. Set at the end of Brisbane Avenue, which forms one of the main paths to access the Parliamentary zone.

    There are paved level accessible pathways around the park, an accessible cafe called On The Lake Cafe, quiet areas, with space for picnics, fishing & walking. The park also offers electric & gas BBQs, picnic tables & large open grassed areas. Dogs are allowed (on the leash).

    Accessible parking & toilets can also be found in the park.
