St Vincent Gardens is located in the middle of Albert Park with plenty of open spaces & gorgeous gardens with wide accessible pathways throughout with benches & shelter dotted around.
St Vincent Gardens Playground can be found on the Vincent Street end with climbing structures, tunnel slide, spiral ladder, shop front, abacus, steps, steering wheel, swings, springers, climbing mat, spiral climber, chain traverse, fireman pole, ramps, monkey bars, monkey rungs, flying fox & four person pommel bounce. Shade is provided from trees with shaded seats too.
The park is separated by Montague Street but the 'West side' is the ideal spot to be for kids as the other side has the Albert Park VRI Bowling Club along with the Albert Park Lawn Tennis Club.
There are accessible pathways around the gardens, water fountains, benches, picnic area both shaded & unshaded, public toilets & free street parking.
Accessible toilets can be found just under 1km away with adult changing facilities at South Melbourne Central on Cecil Street along with South Melbourne Market, Cot Picnic Area & The Clarendon Centre.
