Kitanda Bevs & Bites

The restaurant boasts a spacious outdoor seating area, offering a welcoming alfresco dining experience. However, accessibility is limited, as the main entrance has a high step, and the two-level indoor dining area can only be accessed via stairs. Additionally, the restaurant does not feature an accessible restroom. For parking, a designated disabled space is located about 50 meters ahead on the left, providing some convenience for visitors with mobility needs.

Fermento Pizza

With its expansive alfresco dining area, it’s the perfect spot to soak in the lively atmosphere. However, the main entrance features multiple steps, and the restaurant does not include an accessible restroom. For added convenience, two designated disabled parking spaces are located directly across the street, making it easier for all guests to visit and enjoy.

Tommy's Darlinghurst

The Apollo, located in Potts Point, Sydney, is a renowned contemporary Greek restaurant that blends traditional Greek flavors with modern Australian cuisine.

The Apollo is not accessible for individuals with mobility challenges. The primary accessibility issues are its entrances, which have stairs. The restaurant can not provide a ramp to enter the premises. The Apollo has a somewhat narrow and compact layout, which can further restrict easy movement for individuals using mobility aids.

Significant structural changes are difficult, however they have a street-level terrace where customers can enjoy a succulent meal. The staff c an easily accomodate a table to your convenience. 

The only limitation if you decide to dine in would be accessing the toilets, as there is a step leading to them. Additionally, the toilets are not equipped to accommodate wheelchair users.

The Apollo Restaurant

Little Bishop Espresso Bar is a cozy café, perfect for a quick coffee or light snack in a relaxed setting.

The outdoor seating area is located on the sidewalk, offering a few tables and chairs for guests. However, the entrance features several high steps, making it challenging for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility to access the indoor space. The café does not have a dedicated accessible restroom. While there are plenty of street parking options nearby, a few designated disabled parking spaces are conveniently located directly across the street.

Darlo Deli

Franca in Potts Point is a chic restaurant that mixes the charm of a French brasserie with modern Mediterranean vibes. The place has a fun and lively atmosphere, making it great for both casual meals and special occasions. Their menu is filled with tasty French dishes, and they offer an awesome selection of wines and sparkling drinks from France.

You can find Franca on Macleay Street, right next to other great restaurants and bars, making it a perfect spot for a meal or grabbing a drink with friends on the weekends. It's slightly elevated from the street level, so to enter the venue, you'll need to locate the ramp that leads to the complex. After passing the restaurant Parlar, you’ll see Franca at the end of the hallway.

The doors are wide open, and the entrance is flat, making it wheelchair friendly. There are tables on both sides, and the staff is always happy to help you find a spot. If you wanted to seat outside in its terrace while watching pedestrians on Macleay street, you can stay in the outdoor area.

As for the restrooms, they’re not specially designed for accessibility. The doors are wide, they open manually, and the space inside can be a bit cramped.

Franca

The Frisco Hotel, located on the edge of a quiet neighborhood, presents some challenges for entry due to its age and the lack of recent renovations. As a result, the main entrance has two moderate steps almost impossible for any mobility device, so that can hinder mobility for some individuals, although others may be able to enter with a bit of assistance. Inside, there are spacious corridors, but the restrooms are not accessible.

This restaurant and bar offers a unique dining experience where you order food and drinks directly at the counter, and the staff is happy to help if needed. Although it is not fully adapted for mobility-impaired individuals, you can always enjoy a drink at their outdoor tables.

Frisco Hotel

L'Expresso House is a small but very popular café located at the corner of the Woolloomooloo neighborhood, featuring charming decor inspired by the navy and sailors. The café entrance is flat, allowing mobility devices to access its cozy interior,  it might be a bit narrow and you will have to slowly turn into the right to get further. Inside, there are tables and chairs arranged closely together, leaving limited space to navigate.

We believe there is a chance to secure a nice spot if mobility aids are of manageable size. Our advice is to enjoy the outdoor tables or opt for takeaway, which you can order at the counter without issues. Although the counter is a bit high, the staff are happy to assist. You can always take a walk around the wharf afterward.

Please note that the café has no restrooms; the closest facilities can be found at the Ovolo precinct across the road.

L'Expresso House

La Bomba Cafe and Restaurant is a Spanish Inspired cafe, right into the bustling heart of Potts Point. It is a quaint cafe with its Mediterranean essence, that invites locals to soak up the morning sun in a charming breakfast atmosphere in their bright terrace. It has a strong community vibe and features a diverse range of breakfast and lunch options.  The inside is not accessible, however most people decide to seat outside as their preference.


The cafe aims to be accessible and welcoming to all guests with a large open and outdoor seating section which is perfect for the warmer months. The outdoors area is perfect for mobility devices. However, please be advised that to access the main part of the cafe there is a step up and no ramp.


There is unfortunately no accessible toilet on the premise.

La Bomba Cafe & Restaurant Potts Point

The Tilbury Hotel features tastefully decorated rooms that provide a comfortable stay, with modern amenities designed to cater to the needs of travelers and those enjoying a modern pub atmosphere. Its renovated decor maintains the charm of an old pub, complemented by an outdoor terrace inside the venue, which includes a small waterfall—creating a relaxing and peaceful environment on sunny days.

The hotel has a small step at the main entrance; we believe it is easily accessible but may present some challenges without assistance.

There is also a covered outdoor area at the front that connects to a shared pedestrian space with a wharf view. Inside, the spaces between tables are spacious, making mobility easy.

The venue offers accessible toilets that are quite spacious and easy to navigate, located right next to the indoor terrace.

The Tilbury Hotel

Fratelli Paradiso is an accessible Italian restaurant & wine bar located in Potts Point.  There is step free access to the venue with level paved lead-in pathway.  

There is both fixed & moveable seating options along with a bar area with stools & outside seating & tables. There is limited space so when the venue is busy, maneuvering may be a little troublesome.

Accessible toilets can be found just over 1km away at the Australian Museum & NSW Parliament House which also feature Changing Places adult change facilities & Westfield Sydney Level 5 which offers adult change facility.

There is limited street parking, closest accessible parking is at The Domain St Mary's Road which is over 20 min away.

Fratelli Paradiso

Elisabeth Bay Marina is a stunning waterfront restaurant where guests can dine with panoramic ocean views, capturing the essence of coastal elegance and relaxation. The main entrance includes a dedicated accessible pathway, with a spacious, step-free interior and an expansive outdoor dining area furnished with movable tables and chairs. A ambulant accessible restroom and multiple designated accessible parking spaces right at the front make this venue exceptionally welcoming and convenient for most guests.

Elizabeth Bay Marina

The Kashbah Hotel on William Street is a lively, fun pub with a great atmosphere and a solid selection of drinks, perfect for a casual night out.

However, being an older building and due to strata regulations, the pub isn’t able to make renovations to improve accessibility. There’s a step at the entrance, and since William Street is a bit hilly, there's a small (about 5 cm) step that helps balance the building, which can be tricky for mobility devices to get over.

Unfortunately, there’s no outside seating area either, so the pub isn’t really accessible for those with mobility needs. It's a great spot for those who can navigate the steps, but not the best choice if accessibility is a concern.

Harry’s cafe on Wheels is a well-known location for takeaway and Australian-style street food, proudly serving customers in Woolloomooloo, Sydney, next to the Naval Harbour. This spot, located at the main entrance of the naval base in Sydney, offers a variety of pies and other handheld bites, along with drinks, making it perfect for a quick lunch break or grabbing a snack on the go.

The counter is slightly high, but the staff is more than willing to assist if needed. The designated seating areas are restricted and may not be spacious enough for a wheelchair. The high dining booths, along with their chairs, are positioned quite close to the counter and to one another, which can make movement a bit tight. However, there are some benches right in front of the kiosk where you can enjoy a quick snack or coffee while seated comfortably.

Harry's Café de Wheels - Woolloomooloo

Artspace Visual Arts Centre is an universally accessible space dedicated to the production and presentation of contemporary art in a critical context.  

 Situated on the waterfront between the escarpment of Potts Point and the Domain Hill.  The entrance to Artspace is easily accessible for wheelchairs, prams and buggies. There is lift access from the ground floor to the first and second floors in The Gunnery building.

Pedestrian access from the Art Gallery of New South Wales to Artspace is via public stairs next to the Ausgrid substation on Lincoln Crescent. Disabled access is via steep gradient behind the Art Gallery of New South Wales onto a pedestrian bridge to a lift on Bourke Street. If you wish to avoid steps, they recommend you come by car, taxi or bus.

Artspace has accessible restrooms in each floor that are easy to reach. At the back of the furthest art room on the ground floor you can find wide accessible toilets. In the first floor, after the lift you turn left and after the corridor you can find accessible toilets. Signs are provided.

Artspace is closed on Mondays and on the following public holidays: Easter Friday, Easter Monday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day.

Admission to exhibitions and public programs is always free.

There is limited metered parking available at the entrance to Artspace on Cowper Wharf Road and at the rear of the building on Bland Street. The publicly accessible Domain Car Park is approximately a 10 minute walk from Artspace.

Other accessible toilets can be found at Wallamulla Park, Kings Cross Library & The Calyx.
