Namaste Bondi Indian Cuisine

Bondi Beach is probably the most famous beach in Australia with 1km of stunning beach & home to one of the oldest Surf Life Saving Clubs in Australia.

 Surrounded by parkands, Bondi Beach also has a great variety of shops, restaurants and take away places to choose from. A wide ramp at North Bondi makes access to the beach easy Mobi-mat beach mats are in use at Bondi Beach on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8.30am to 2pm, surf and weather conditions permitting. They are located at the northern end ramp of Bondi Beach, near Wally Weekes pool. Please note that the matting does NOT reach the ocean’s edge.  

Beach wheelchairs are available for hire: you can choose between the Sandcruiser (adults) or Sandpiper (children). Please use the beach wheelchairs to access and swim between the flags. Two accessible parking spots are located right near the ramp down to the beach at North Bondi. There is also plenty of parking available in the open air car park behind the beach. Accessible bathrooms and showers are available near the beach wheelchair lockers just back from the promenade.

Bondi Beach Hardware is an accessible bistro located on Hall Street in Bondi. There are no steps preventing access at the entrance or inside the venue. Seating is tight and maneuvering a wheelchair may be difficult at peak times. There is also no accessible toilet in Bondi Beach Hardware.

Sake Street on Hall Street in Bondi is a warm and inviting Japanese restaurant. The entrance has a small step that is usually easy for wheelchairs to roll over. While there isn’t a portable ramp available, the restaurant offers a lovely outdoor dining area, providing an accessible and enjoyable option for all guests.

Gertrude & Alice Cafe is accessible for wheelchair users. Entry and the inside of the venue is step-free, but space for maneuvering is at a premium inside. There is some additional accessible seating outside, and Gertrude & Alice doesn’t have an accessible toilet.

Pizza Hut is an inaccessible takeaway restaurant in Bondi. There are steps at the main entrance and no portable ramp to assist with wheelchair entry.

Located on a slight slope, The Depot is an inaccessible cafe on Campbell Parade in Bondi. The counter and indoor seating area can only be accessed via negotiating a step upon entry. The absence of a portable ramp means only the venue’s outdoor seating can be accessed by wheelchair.

The Rice Pot is an accessible restaurant. The venue’s main entrance on Hall Street is step-free, but the inside of Rice Pot is tight for space. There is some cramped seating inside the venue, which doesn’t have an accessible toilet. However there are several outdoor tables available. Accessible parking spots can be found in the shopping center carpark nearby.

Cafe Bondi is a licensed cafe located on a slight slope on Campbell Parade in Bondi.

The counter and indoor seating area can only be accessed via negotiating a step upon entry.

Cafe Bondi

Located just a stone’s throw from Bondi Beach, Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop is an accessible ice cream shop. An open plan, step-free entrance leads to the counter and a small seating area. There are no toilets on the premises.

Located on Hall Street in Bondi on a slight slope, Le Paris-Go is an accessible cafe. There is step-free access into the venue and to the counter, but not all of the indoor seating can be accessed due to steps and the absence of any lift. The outside tables are partially accessible and there is no toilet on site.

Gourmet Pizza & Soup Co is accessible for wheelchair users. A gentle ramp meets you at the entrance and leads into a small dining area and up to the counter. Seating inside is at a premium and some is inaccessible. Accessible toilets are not available.

Fishmongers on Hall Street is temporary closed but there is an open venue on 262 Campbell Parade, Bondi Beach. It is an accessible food outlet serving gourmet seafood. After you enter via a ramp at the front of the shop, space in the restaurant itself is at a premium and some of the seating is inaccessible. The outside seating is accessible but there is no accessible toilet on site.
Designated parking spots are not available in the nearby area.

Fishmongers Bondi

Cali Press is an accessible venue located on Hall Street in Bondi. Space inside the venue is tight and space between tables is at a premium. There are some accessible tables outside Cali Press.The venue doesn’t have an accessible toilet on site and the closest parking spots can be found at the beach carpark.

A small step at the entrance to Handmade Noodle & Dumpling Kitchen may make this restaurant inaccessible for some wheelchair users. There is no portable ramp to aid access.

An ice cream parlour on Hall Street, Gelatissimo is accessible for wheelchair users. Step-free entry leads you to the counter and a very limited indoor seating area. There are no accessible toilets and no outside tables on site.

Gusto Espresso Bar is an accessible cafe in Bondi. There is step-free access into the venue, which has a tightly packed seating area. Benches outside Gusto make wheelchair access difficult. There are no accessible toilets on site.

Bondi's Best Seafood is a takeaway seafood restaurant located at the northern end of Campbell Parade. It is accessible by wheelchair. Situated on a slight slope, the entrance provides step-free access into the indoor dining area.
