Queens Park is a spacious 26‑hectare urban park offering multiple accessible entry points and a variety of inclusive outdoor features. The primary access point is located at the corner of Queens Park Road and Baronga Avenue, near Centennial Park. Additional accessible entrances are available from the intersection of Darley Road and York Road, and off the footpath from Queens Park Road. Throughout the park, wide, paved shared pathways provide continuous access for walking, running, cycling and mobility aid users. These paths are generally smooth, with gentle to moderate undulation, and connect key areas of the park, including sports fields, exercise zones and amenities. The layout of the park includes predominantly flat terrain across the southern and western sections, where large low-cut grassy playing fields are located. Mature trees, open landscapes and gently varied terrain create an attractive environment with scenic views toward Sydney’s CBD skyline.
Two accessible outdoor fitness areas with gym equipment are positioned on the northern and southern sides of the park. Picnic tables and benches are available in limited numbers throughout the park. A large, unfenced section of the park is designated as an off‑leash area for dogs. Accessibility amenities are well distributed.
Accessible restrooms are available at multiple locations. A unisex accessible toilet with shower and family change facilities is located off Baronga Avenue near Fields One and Two. Another accessible restroom and an electric barbecue facility are located just off the footpath near Darley Road on the southern side of the park, close to the playground.In addition, an accessible toilet is available within Queens Park Kitchen, with step-free access via the café during opening hours (Monday–Friday 7:30am–3:30pm, Saturday–Sunday 7:30am–4:00pm).
Accessible parking includes two designated spaces on Darley Road and one on Queens Park Road. Public transport access is convenient, with bus route 356 stopping near most park entrances.
