• Location & Entry: Access to the carpark is off Dee Why Parade.

• Designated Bays: The site features 7 designated accessible bays in total:

  • Main Section: 4 accessible parking bays complete with blue accessibility logos and wide yellow diagonal shared transfer zones, allowing side loading and unloading for wheelchairs.

  • Rear Section: 3 additional accessible parking bays positioned directly adjacent to the public toilet block and beach access paths.

• Time Limits & Permit Exemptions: Free parking for up to 2 hours is available. Note: Vehicles displaying a valid Mobility Parking Scheme (MPS) permit receive extended time allowances under Northern Beaches Council rules (e.g., up to 4 hours in a 2-hour zone).

Public Amenities & Beach Infrastructure

• Accessible Bathroom: Located immediately next to the rear parking bays. The facility includes a dedicated unisex accessible toilet ('All Gender Toilet RH') with lever handle access and tactile Braille door signage.

• Connecting Pathways: Asphalt and concrete footpaths provide step-free connections from the parking bays directly to the paved foreshore promenade, picnic shelters, and nearby beachfront cafes along The Strand.

• Beach Access & Equipment: The adjacent Dee Why Surf Life Saving Club offers beach matting during patrol hours and access to a free beach wheelchair (available for booking through Northern Beaches Council or the SLSC
