Kutti Beach is an inaccessible beach in Watsons Bay. The only access to the beach is a narrow set of stairs down from Wharf Road.

Gibson's Beach Reserve is a very small park located opposite Gibson’s Beach in Watsons Bay. There is step-free access via Marine Parade and the park is a gentle gradient throughout. There are no toilets on the plot.

Gibsons Beach; a curving, west-facing, 120 m long strip of high tide sand, crossed by a concrete storm water drain, with boats moored 80 m offshore. A concrete walkway backs the beach, with a central grassy park and steps providing public access, with private houses to either side. The path leads north to the Vaucluse yacht club and coast guard jetty at the northern end of the beach beyond which is a car park then the tidal pool. The beach itself is accessible. There is step-free access onto the beach via a ramp at the centre of the beach. The sand is mainly soft and the beach has a gentle gradient. From the parking lot there a staired pathway to the Cove. Alternatively they have constructed in 2012 a wheelchair accessible path with no stairs, but a long shallow incline to the Cove. There are no toilets at the beach, nor shops or restaurants.

Gibson's Beach

Vaucluse Yacht Club is accessible to wheelchair users. There is step-free access into and around the one-level building. However, there are no accessible toilets available. Close by is Doyle's Restaurant & the Watsons Bay Hotel if you are hungry.

Apart from the outdoor area, which provides step-free access onto the site, the venue is inaccessible by wheelchair. Two steps upon entry into the counter area prevent wheelchair access. There is no portable ramp on site and no accessible toilet.

The Tea Garden

Green Point Reserve is an inaccessible park located in Watsons Bay. The park is situated along South Heads Trail and it can only be accessed via negotiating stairs along the route.

Dunbar House is an accessible cafe and restaurant located on Clovelly Street. There is step-free access into the venue via a ramp at the side entrance. Not all areas of the building are step-free and there is only access to wheelchair users around the ground floor, which has plenty of accessible and generous seating inside and outside. The venue offers an accessible toilet as well as parking spots off street around the venue.

Watsons Bay Baths are accessible to wheelchair users. There is an all-ability water access ramp and two full immersible wheelchairs (MLAK Access) available for use. There are no accessible toilets located nearby.

Doyles on the Wharf Take Away is fully accessible. There is step-free access into and throughout the venue. All facilities are on one-level. It doesn’t have an accessible toilet on site. However there are parking spots in the nearby carparks available.

With both indoor and outdoor dining, Doyles on the beach is located right on the foreshore of Watsons Bay overlooking  Sydney Harbour.
Doyles on the Beach Restaurant is an accessible eatery with step-free access into the venue, but not all areas can be accessed via wheelchair. There is accessible seating inside and outside. Also an accessible toilet is provided.

Watsons Bay Beach Club Restaurant is an accessible waterfront eatery. There is step-free access to the Beach Club floor via the side entrance, but the top deck and middle deck are inaccessible to wheelchair users. The restaurant, which is called Sunset Room, can be accessed, but staff will need to use the portable ramp they have on site to assist you. There are accessible toilets located next to reception of Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel. Outdoor seating is available for wheelchair users and designated parking spots can be found in the hotel carpark.

Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel is partly accessible to wheelchair users. The hotel’s Watson King Rooms are accessible, featuring wide showers and wide-berth elevators to the rooms. The restaurant (Sunset room) is accessible for wheelchair users via a portable ramp. The Beach Club lower floor is easy to access if you enter the bottom entrance outside. However, the top deck and middle deck areas are not wheelchair accessible. There is free parking along Marine Parade, adjacent to the hotel and additional street parking in the surrounding streets.

Just a short walk from Watsons Bay ferry wharf, wheelchair-accessible Camp Cove boasts millionaire views that are hard to miss. Nestled on the harbour side of South Head, this delightful beach is packed with fun options to keep the family smiling all day.
The kids will love swimming and snorkelling in the calm waters while you relax on the sandy beach. There is a gently-sloped ramp from the street providing step-free access directly onto the beach. The sand is mainly soft and the beach has a gentle gradient. But, the public toilets can only be accessed via a set of stairs. Beware also, if you’re rolling from Watson’s Bay it’s quite difficult due to the old streets with no footpaths, high kerbs and hills. However, there is accessible parking in the carpark at the end of Cliff Street. Camp Cove Reserve is a small park located on Cove Street in Watsons Bay.

Eastern Bay Thai Cafe is an inaccessible eatery located on Military Road in Watsons Bay. There is a step at the entrance to the venue and another step inside the cafe, preventing wheelchair access. There is no portable ramp on site.

Gelatissimo Watsons Bay is an inaccessible takeaway ice cream shop located on Military Road. There is a step leading up to the doorway and another step upon entry, preventing wheelchair access. There is no portable ramp on site. However there are outside tables available which are accessible for wheelchair users but there are no designated toilets on site.

Tucker Bar is an inaccessible cafe located on Military Road. There is a step upon entry into the venue, preventing wheelchair access. There is no portable ramp on site. However there are outside tables which are accessible for wheelchair users.

Camp Cove

Gap Park is located on a coastal escarpment on Sydney Harbour's South Head. It has spectacular views of both the harbour and the sea. There are a series of basic paths amidst windswept native coastal vegetation that traverse the cliff tops. The area is one of Sydney's most popular tourist destinations. Gap Park is a partially accessible park. There are steps in the park, but ramps provide step-free access. The park itself doesn’t provide accessible toilets however there are accessible toilets in the Robertson Park nearby.
There are cafes and restaurants in the surrounding area. There is no picnic area within the park.
The closest parking spots can be found on Military Road around Robertson Park and Old South Head Road.

Gap Park

Located in the centre of Watsons Bay, Robertson Park is a fully accessible plot with step-free access. The gradient varies from steep to gentle, and there are some seating areas around the park. There is also an accessible picnic area and a playground in the park. Public accessible toilets can be found on site but unfortunately there are no cafes or restaurants but food can be bought in one of the nearby food outlets where you can also enjoy the harbour view. At the park there is limited on and off street parking possible.

Robertson Park

Located just off Military Road, The Gap lookout is an accessible lookout point offering views of the South Pacific Ocean. There is a ramp up to the platform offering step-free access. The terrain is mixed but mostly gentle and the gradient is slightly ascending.  There are no accessible toilets located on site.
The closest parking spots can be found on Military Road around Robertson Park and Old South Head Road.

The Gap Lookout

Sushi Train in Rose Bay is a local favorite, blending traditional Japanese flavors with a fun, modern twist! The conveyor belt sushi setup brings a bit of Japanese dining culture right to you, with fresh and colourful sushi plates rotating past for you to grab and enjoy.

Located on the main street, Sushi Train is close to local shops and super easy to get to with paths and ramps for a smooth arrival. The entrance is level with the sidewalk, making it easy for everyone to enter. If you’re craving a personalized sushi experience, just ask the friendly staff to set up a table on the left side to make your meal even more comfortable.

Takeaway orders are available as soon as you enter—just place your order at the front desk. While the main dining area has a step up to access the conveyor belt seating, the staff is happy to bring your favorite sushi to the front seating area if you prefer, so everyone can enjoy the meal their way!

Unfortunately the toilets are located at the end of the sushi belt hallway, meaning that unless you can manage the step, toilets are not accessible.

Watsons Bay Beach is an accessible beach. There is step-free access via Marine Parade, which leads onto a gentle ramp leading down to the beach. The beach is a gentle gradient and the sand is mainly firm sand. There are no accessible toilets located at the beach.

Sonoma Bakery in Rose Bay is a beloved local bakery renowned for its sourdough bread, baked fresh daily, along with a wide selection of sweet and savory pastries.

This is a spacious, accessible venue where everyone is welcome. The entry is flat, so there should be no accessibility issues getting inside. As I write this, a family with a pram is at the entrance.

The bakery is quite large, so you’ll feel comfortable moving around with your device right up to the counter as you decide which pastry, bread, or hot drink to get.

Inside, seating is arranged in a circular layout around the walls, leaving plenty of space in the middle. Alternatively, you can order at the counter and head outside, where the friendly staff will bring your order to your table.

There are no designated accessible toilets, but the ladies toilet is adapted for people with reduced mobility. The door manually opens inward, and the lock is also manual. The ladies’ restroom is spacious, allowing enough room for devices to manoeuvre and access the left-hand rails by the toilet. The men’s restroom, however, has no rails and has limited space.

Sonoma Bakery Rose Bay

Gap Bluff is an inaccessible park located in Watsons Bay. The park is situated just past Gap Park and it can only be accessed via negotiating stairs along the route.

Nielsen Park is located at Vaucluse in Sydney's eastern suburbs & boasts three large sheltered picnic areas & expansive lawns with gentle slopes.

There is a small netted beach with a concrete ramp at one end.  There are wide flat pathways along the water with harbour views.  

There is alao kiosk with eat in or takeaway meals, plenty of tables outside & table service. In summer the kiosk is open in the early evening.

There is a large disabled bathroom facility which includes a toilet and shower change area. This is close to the beach and requires a MLAK key.  There is disabled street parking near the entrance to the park, however this parking is rear to curb & there is a drop behind the parking.
