Mount Martha Beach is 2km long with Balcombe Creek inbetween dividing the beach to Mount Martha South & North.
The Mount Martha Life Saving Club and the yacht club are located at the northern end of the southern beach. The surf club offers great accessible facilities including bathroom, shower & change room. There is a disabled toilet in the walkway from the car park to the concrete apron. There are 3 beach wheelchairs available when patrol teams on duty - Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays 12-5.30. You don’t need to book the chairs & there is no cost for using them – just turn up and speak to the friendly patrollers.
Beach matting which is out 24/7 and leads directly from the concrete apron in front of the club down to the waters edge. Please note beach matting will not always meet the waters edge, during low tides. The club also runs the Starfish Nippers Program a modified Nipper Program for children and young adults with special needs. Email [email protected] for more details.
There is plenty of parking (unmarked and unrestricted). There are a couple of disabled parking spots which lead onto the concrete apron (no steps).
