Accessible Surf Lifesaving Club In Beach RdMordialloc Beach and Foreshore

    Mordialloc Beach was one of the first accessible beaches in Victoria 25 minute drive south of Melbourne.

    There is a wide flat beach with a 300 metre long pier. During the summer, beach patrol hours on weekends and public holidays between 12-5pm a beach a mat is rolled out along the sand towards the water. Free use of the Hippocampe beach wheelchair is avaialble via the Mordialloc Surf Life Saving Club, just turn up on the patrolled day and ask one of the lifeguards. There is no booking system.

    There is an accessible Surf Life Saving Club with great wheelchair access along with a disabled toilet. There is car parking and disabled parking outside the club house however on busy summer days it tends to fill up pretty quickly. There is a great walkway along the top of the beach which is wheelchair friendly as well.
