Moonshine Bar - Sydney Festival

Moonshine Bar is located at Pier 2/3 in Walsh Bay Arts Precinct. It is a bar and live music space. The entrance is through the Ground Floor foyer on the western or eastern side of the pier. This entrance area is shared with ACO, Bell Shakespeare and Australian Theatre for Young People.

There is step-free access to the venue. Walsh Bay Arts Precinct has ramps and lifts to help wheelchair users reach the main public areas. Sydney Festival also lists Moonshine Bar as having wheelchair access. The waterfront paths around the pier are generally wide and flat, but the distance along the pier can be quite long.

Moonshine Bar is used as a casual bar and performance space. Depending on the event, there may be seating areas, standing areas, food and drink areas, or temporary installations. Some Sydney Festival events are standing only and do not provide seats, while other events may use seating in the foyer or outdoor areas. Because the layout changes for different events, the amount of clear space for wheelchair movement may also change.

Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available in the precinct. Walsh Bay Arts Precinct also has accessible and ambulant toilets, wheelchair-accessible unisex toilets, and extra accessible toilets inside some venues.

For parking, there are accessible parking spaces at 5 Hickson Road. Nearby public car parks include Bond One Car Park, Barangaroo Point Car Park and Barangaroo Reserve Car Park.

For public transport, bus routes 324 and 325 stop near Walsh Bay. Barangaroo Metro Station is about 900 metres away and can be reached along Hickson Road.
