ILUMINA

ILUMINA is located within the modern 1 Elizabeth precinct at Martin Place, Sydney CBD, directly connected to Martin Place Metro Station and close to major public transport links. The venue spans Levels 2, 3 and 4 of the building and includes event halls, breakout rooms, pre-function spaces and bar areas.

Towering above Martin Place and directly above Martin Place Metro Station, the 1 Elizabeth precinct provides step-free public access through Elizabeth Street and Martin Place station entrances. Accessible entrances are also available via Elizabeth Street, Hunter Street, Castlereagh Street and Martin Place station access points. Pedestrians can access the building directly from Martin Place Metro Station through internal connections within the precinct. Equality of access is generally provided throughout the building.

From the ground floor, one lift provides access to the Metro concourse, while another lift connects to the lower and upper venue levels. Access between floors is available by stairs, escalators and lifts. Level 1 includes the ILUMINA reception area. Access to Levels 2–4 is staff-assisted, as upper-level lift access requires staff operation or access control.

Level 2 is mainly used for smaller corporate meetings and breakout rooms and includes accessible and ambulant toilets. Levels 3 and 4 are primarily used for larger events, conferences and functions. Both levels include accessible and ambulant toilets, pre-function spaces and bar areas. The pre-function areas feature wide circulation spaces and event bar areas used during functions and conferences.

Internal circulation throughout the venue is generally wide, modern and step-free, supporting wheelchair users and mobility aids. Accessible toilets include grab rails, circulation space and accessible entry doors. Some levels also include all-gender bathroom facilities.

In emergency situations such as fire evacuation, staff advised that assistance is provided to wheelchair users through emergency procedures and evacuation stairs.

Public parking options are available nearby, including Secure Parking at 1 Martin Place, Wilson Parking at 19–29 Martin Place and parking locations near Chifley Square and Hunter Street. Paid parking is also available at Wilson Parking on Bligh Street. Dedicated accessible parking spaces were not observed during the visit; however, staff advised that visitors with disability permits can park there and assistance can be provided if required.

ILUMINA is directly connected to Martin Place Metro Station and is also approximately a 3-minute walk from St James Station and a 6-minute walk from Wynyard Station.
