    A non–patrolled beach that is popular with families due to its peaceful location and fantastic sheltered park, dotted with sheltered picnic areas & barbeques. Featuring accessible parking and wide accessible pathways down to the beach. Malabar Beach is one of the first in New South Wales to use a beach mat, which offers permanent wheelchair access all year round. The 60-metre beach matting allows power and manual wheelchair users, as well as those who use walkers and other mobility aids, to reach the waterfront. Malabar Beach also offers accessible parking, pathways, bathroom, outdoor shower & accessible ocean pool. It also features a rock pool located on the southern foreshore near Randwick Golf Club. Cromwell Park Playground is located close to the beach. With a nautical them it includes monkey bars, slide, tunnel beads, boat, swing sets, enclosed by lockable fence & gates & covered with sail cloths. There is a small cafe, toilets & a walking track along the bay.
