Hallstrom Park in Willoughby is desgined to be a mini version of Taronga Zoo with the zoo-themed play equipment & animal statues.  

There is the oversized turtle with shell cutouts for climbing, standstone statues of elephants, gorillas & geckos, the interactive “musicosaurus” & stone crocodile hidden in the drainage channel, camouflaged by rocks.  A continuous accessible path (flat to gently undulating) links the playground elements, including a mound slide (no steps), sandpit and water pump.
