Lincoln square has a steep incline from Bouverie Street. Single accessible toilet located at the park on Bouverie Street. 
Concrete square on Swanston Street side has a water feature and seating. There are steps to access this part from most sides.

Terrain best option: mix of grass and concrete. There is seating in the middle of the park on concrete. 
Inclines: the park is on a slight incline heading north.

Very friendly from accessibility perspective. It has two separate accessible entrances. First is via the street and up the lift. The second is via their car park which has accessible car park. 
All of their cinemas have ramps for access. Cinema 3 has an accessibility lift (not a ramp). There is a limitation though on battery operated wheelchairs due to the weight of the wheelchairs as per the maximum weight capacity for the ramps. 
There are accessible toilets with ample space for wheelchairs and have automated doors.

Cinema Nova

Karen's Diner is an accessible restaurant with step free entry door which can fit a wheelchair and there is easy access via the door. There seems to be ample space on the ground floor to fit a wheelchair. The toilets are upstairs but accessible toilets can be found at Argyle Place.  
There is a dedicated accessible parking spot right across the street opposite the diner. 
Further parking can be found at the underground car park on 215 Elgin Street.

The Grainger Museum is open to students and researchers by appointment and open to the public throughout the year for events and public programs.
It is a small building on Royal Parade with ramp access from the footpath.

EMH Health Club is very difficult to locate, opposite the entrance to Woman’s Hospital carpark which is the only parking easily available.  Further parking can be found at the multi-storey, 33 Bedford Street.
There is works in the area as also the RMH Materials Handling Building, meaning a lot of traffic.
Disability access displayed on front entrance however location unclear. There is a lift but if was out of order so no accessible access to level 1 where entrance located. 
Accessible toilets can be found at Ievers Reserve & within the hospital




EFM Health Club

Common areas are accessible 
Designated accessible bedroom available with extra room size & accessible bathroom, roll-in shower & accessible wheelchair access toilet.

Isabella’s is an accessible cafe located at the entrance of the Royal Womans Hospital serving breakfast and lunch. 
Ramp access to the right of stairs and while there is one step to enter cafe from main entrance, there is another accessible entrance through the main hospital door and to the right.
No on-site toilet or parking apart from hospital underground carpark and facilities.

Melbourne Museum is an accessible venue with step-free access & lifts are available.
There are accesible toilets onsite. 
Area is spacious and accessible, including shops.

Melbourne Museum

We had a mixed experience when we visited the Melbourne Museum earlier this year.  I can only conditionally recommend it as an accessible venue, which is very disappointing.

There is very good disabled parking underneath the building, and the lift to travel to the museum is a reasonable size.

However, the lift within the museum is tiny and not appropriate for a large wheelchair - especially if a carer is needed to accompany the wheelchair user.

This means that a group cannot easily move through the museum together.

When we asked staff for another way to access the upper level, we were directed to a ramp that lead to a wet and cold outdoor garden.  We discovered an indoor ramp by ourselves later in our visit, so *thumbs down* for staff being helpful.

The disabled toilets that we found were ludicrously small.  I would not call them accessible.  There may have been other accessible toilets around but see the point about the unhelpful staff.  Additional accessible toilets can be found at Argyle Place

Finally, some spaces were set up so that it was very difficult to navigate the wheelchair - and we almost ran over a small child as a result!

It was a very disappointing outing.

Cafe is accessible with indoor and outdoor seating. There is also an inaccessible upper level (stairs only).

There are wide smooth paths throughout the park although some minor slopes.

Manchester Press is an accessible coffee shop with step-free front & open sliding door.  The laneway is smooth aside from one row of cobblestones down the middle.
A wheelchair fits with assistance round the 
tables with non fixed benches & high stools.		
There is no outside seating or accessible toilet but one can be found at 113 Queen Street or the Emporium on Lonsdale Street.

Manchester Press

There is no step free access to the venue, there is a step in through the front door. The door is manual. There are not accessible toilets. The seating is not accessibility friendly. There are a few low tables up in front. No outside seating.

Saigon Street Eats - FITZROY

Sugar Glider is an accessible bar with step free entrance to manual push door, and no side entrance.
There are booth / bench seating, no outside seating or accessible toilet onsite.  
There is a public toilet at Victoria Street & accessible parking at Coles & Woolworths Fitzroy (customers only) & The Fitzroy Mills Market, along with street parking.  





Sugar Glider

The Workers Club is a wheelchair-accessible venue with step-free access via a side entrance on Gertrude St. This entrance has a manual door.

The majority of the venue is accessible, including the front bar, the band room and the beer garden.

A wheelchair can fit between tables. There is a mixture of low tables and benches with high stools both in the front bar and the beer garden. There is also seating out the front of the venue on both Brunswick St and Gertrude St.

There is an accessible gender neutral toilet with ramp and wheelchair cubicle located at the back of the venue, next to the beer garden entrance.

There is general parking along the streets with accessible parking spots on Victoria Parade.

The Workers Club

The venue is inaccessible with step access to the front.  There are no doors at the front but no other means of entry.
The inside is cramped with tables at the front but no outside seating or toilet.  
Accessible parking can be found on Collins Street,  Flinders Lane & Collins Place

Breizoz is an inaccessible French creperie with step access, no portable ramp either to manual doors.  
A wheelchair can fit between tables & there is outdoor seating.
There are no accessible toilets but ones can be found at Fitzroy Library.

Elizabeth St/Bourke St 5

Denmark House is an accessible Danish Smørrebrød Restaurant & Akvavit Bar.  There is 
a bit of incline between door to building and elevator. Then elevator to level 3 & no door upon entry.  
Car can pull up outside door. Street is One way so when parked outside venue passenger side of car is against curb. 	
A wheelchair fits easily around tables & seating which is not fixed to the floor.  No outside seating or toilet but accessible toilet can be found at 424 Lonsdale Street.  
There are 2 separate accessible parking spaces just up the street on other side. And a secure (brand) car park across the road at 200 Queens St.


Denmark House

The Old Bar is a semi-accessible venue, the entrance has a manual door with a tiny step. Not many accessibility options as inside is cramped with bar & high stools.  
There are no accessible toilets but ones can be found at 247 Victoria Street, parking at Coles & Woolworths Fitzroy (customers only) or Fitzroy Mills Market.

The Old Bar

The entrance has steps and the door (glass) which is required to be pushed to open manually. There is no other entrance, any other signs or ramp.

The Larwill Studio is an art filled boutique hotel joined to the Royal Childrens Hospital Melbourne.

Main entrance has stairs but easily accessible via side entrance or lift from underground car park.

There is designated parking on Flemington Road and approx 8 spaces underground near lift.

Toilets located in Farmacy cafe or hospital food area. 

There are accessible rooms available with roll in shower.

The Farmacy is a modern cafe and restaurant in the front lobby of the Larwill Studio Hotel.
Accessible through main entrance (note hotel and hospital food area access is via side entrance).  Spacious interior with accessible toilet.

Designated parking spaces in on Flemington Road or underground carpark.

The car park space is parallel, located outside of Boost Juice. Only one space available if parallel, driver-side.  Drop curb nearby, 15cm approx. 
Sufficient space for a wheelchair to move alongside, if car is parked close to curb. 
No awkward obstacles.

The theatre is located on Collins Street in the City of Melbourne and the streets around the theatre are fairly steep.  If you are using a manual wheelchair it’s fairly hard work pushing yourself up to the theatre from the traffic light. If you are strong enough you will be fine but it’s still fairly challenging to get around on these streets in this area. No problem for power wheelchair users though.

 The theatre itself has a small step going into the building itself from Collins Street but there’s also a cut away area on the right side of the doors leading into the building from the street, so it’s step free access from the street. However, Collins Street is a fairly steep street to go along so it’s best to have a powered wheelchair to get around in the street unless you have someone else with you that can help you push your wheelchair up to the theatre otherwise if you have strong enough arms you could try doing it yourself but it’s directly opposite the Regent Theatre as well which is also steep to get around on too.

Once inside the theatre there’s a dedicated disabled bathroom to the side of the entrance and then to get access to the theatre itself there’s a slight slope going down to the seating areas and the best seats are available in the stalls area as the dress circle is only accessible via a flight of stairs which is the situation in most Melbourne theatres. The stalls area is accessible for everyone, and they can help you to your seat if you can transfer yourself and they’ll take your wheelchair back to the foyer until the intermission if there’s one during the show or they’ll bring it back to you at the end of the show.

The only downside of this theatre is that the building is located on a steep street which is Collins Street. You can be dropped off directly outside of the theatre and there’s parking available in the nearby streets but can’t remember if there’s any disabled parking available in the immediate area.

Accessible toilets can be found at St Collins Lane, City Library, Flinders St Station & Fed Square - External.

Athenaeum Theatre

Access to the venue is via push button intercom at left of front door for disabled access staff attend and show you through to elevator access the building next door.  All signposted. 
Access is only to ground floor of restaurant not the second floor. 
A wheelchair fits easily around the tables & benches all high stools, no outside seating.			
Accessible toilet is only one, all gender wheelchair access & ambulant access door opens outwards very clean. 

Bus zone out front so no parking in front rear.

Red Spice Road

Parking off street on Napier St just outside 95 Napier St, access passenger side.

Three Pandas Dumpling House is located in a food court area within the Royal Childrens Hospital.
Easily accessible via main hospital entrance, side entrance and via underground carpark lift where there are approx 8 designated parks.
Small number of seats inside with more located along walkway window (indoors).

The cafes in the food court all share the same nearby hospital toilet which is accessible.

No on-site toilet but there is a hospital toilet nearby.

Three Pandas Dumpling House

Common areas are accessible.  Hotel doors are portered - heavy swing doors if unattended though.  
There is designated accessible bedrooms
with extra room space, automatic doors, and widened doorways. 
Accessible room bathroom with extra room, roll-in shower, two doors which open.
Accessible toilet with wheelchair access which is well maintained. 
Accessible pool with lift and accessible toilet nearby. Flat access to open space gym.

The Westin Melbourne

There is obstacle-free access to the square &  ramps across the park for easy access.
Most areas easy to get to, the best
terrain option being concrete pathways with grass area.
