Accessible Surf Lifesaving Club In Charles SturtHenley Beach

    Henley Beach is a coastal suburb of Adelaide, just 20 minutes from the city. The shoreline stretches for approx 11kms, surrounded by a grassed area & plenty of resturants including lots of fish & chips. Henley Square is just round the corner with even more food options.

    Beach matting is available from Thursday to Sunday between October and Easter each year with plenty of Mobi-mat wheelchair parking on the sand. Mat roll out is subject to tide times, weather conditions and resources.

    Beach wheelchairs are available for free half day hire from October to Easter. You can choose from the Mobi-Chair or the Davinci Mobile Beachster or a mobility walker. Booking are essential, call 08 8408 1333. Bookings are for either the morning (8:30am to 12:30pm) or the afternoon (1pm to 5pm). Once you've booked, you can collect the wheelchair from the Henley Surf Lifesaving Club at 246 Esplanade, Henley Beach.

    There is a fully equipped Changing Place facility, BYO sling. Facility only accessible with MLAK key. Clients can pick up a loan Key from Henley Public Library during library opening times. There are 6 accessible parking spaces down by the beach.
