    About this place

    Haig Park is a vibrant urban park on the edge of the city situated in the suburbs of Braddon & Turner in Canberra. It lies on either side of Northbourne Avenue. The park is named to honour Earl Haig, the Commander-in-Chief of the British Expeditionary Forces during the First World War, spans the distance between Mount Ainslie and Black Mountain.

    Paved level pathways run throughout the park with a fitness track, row of exotic trees, accessible toilets, wide grassed areas, barbecues, picnic tabless, playground & accessible parking located adjacent to the accessible toilet.
