Keep in mind that the counter is quite high, which may make ordering difficult for some. The shop also offers cured meats and local products displayed and visible from the street. The venue itself is very small, with a step at the entrance that may limit accessibility inside; however, you can place your order from outside.

There are no public restrooms, with the nearest toilets located at King’s Cross Station, approximately 600 meters away.

Small's Deli

Ms. G’s in Potts Point is a lively, urban-chic restaurant offering a fun twist on Southeast Asian flavors, all with stunning panoramic views of the cityscape.

The entry connects directly to the curb, making the ground floor easily accessible for guests with mobility devices. While only the ground floor is wheelchair accessible (the building’s age makes further modifications tricky), the staff are always happy to accommodate you at a terrace table when space is available, so you can enjoy your meal and refreshing cocktails in comfort.

Potts Point Hotel  is a welcoming choice for an inclusive night out in Sydney’s vibrant Kings Cross area. The lift connects to all levels, and accessible restrooms are situated near the lift on the ground floor, offering direct access. Sun Hot Bakery

Healthy Nuts, on the ground floor of the Kings Cross complex under the famous Coca-Cola sign, is a spacious and welcoming shop that’s perfect for grabbing a healthy snack or drink. The shop is easy to access from the street, with a flat, wide entrance that makes it simple for wheelchairs or mobility aids to get inside. Once you’re in, there are cozy couches that add a relaxed vibe, and they can be moved around if needed to make more space.

The counter where you order isn’t too high, so it’s easy to see everything they offer and place your order. If you need a hand, the staff are super friendly and happy to help. While the shop has two floors, the lower level can only be reached by stairs, so it might not work for everyone.

There aren’t any toilets inside the shop, but don’t worry—the Kings Cross complex has public restrooms that are wheelchair-friendly. Just head into the complex, follow the ramps to the end, and you’ll find the restrooms on the left side.

The lift takes you straight upstairs, where everything is clearly marked for a smooth experience.

Inside, there’s loads of space, and the bar is not so far from the lift entrance. With wide paths between tables and easy access to accessible bathrooms, with handrails at the back of the first floor, you can order right from your table, and the friendly staff are always around to help, making sure you have a relaxed, enjoyable time at Penny’s!

Pennys Hotel

Five Star Kebab is a lively spot known for its flavourful kebabs, fresh ingredients, and vibrant street-side setting, making it a favourite among locals and visitors alike.

Whether you're a ramen enthusiast or trying it for the first time, Bones Ramen offers a delightful dining experience in the heart of Kings Cross.

The restaurant is located on the hill of Bayswater Road and is mostly accessible from the footpath. Frisco Hotel

Café St. Blue in Potts Point is a cozy little spot just a quick stroll from Lawrence Hargrave Reserve, reachable through a wide hill, accessible friendly. After enjoying a nice stroll around the neighbourhood, you can easily stop by the café and follow the footpath to the small park nearby, which has gardening activities and a dog-friendly space. Perfect for taking a breather from the city's hustle and bustle!

While the café has a step at the entrance and isn’t accessible, you can always grab some takeaway and head over to the park. The nearest accessible toilets are right in front of the park at the police house building. After your visit to the café, just follow the curb to Potts Point Square, where you’ll find public restrooms that include accessible features, right in front of the Park. Enjoy your day out!

St. Blue Cafe - Coffee and Food

The Apollo, located in Potts Point, Sydney, is a renowned contemporary Greek restaurant that blends traditional Greek flavors with modern Australian cuisine.

The Apollo Restaurant

Una's

The café is elevated above the sidewalk and accessible via stairs, but a convenient ramp on the left side ensures wheelchair and disabled access. Additionally, the café includes a fully accessible restroom for disabled guests. The restroom is located inside the hotel next door, ask reception and they will lead you towards the right until the end of the corridor, where accessible toilets can be found. While there are numerous temporary street parking spaces nearby, there are no designated disabled parking spots.

Shuk Elizabeth Bay

Yachiyo Japanese Bistro Darlinghurst

Franca in Potts Point is a chic restaurant that mixes the charm of a French brasserie with modern Mediterranean vibes. The place has a fun and lively atmosphere, making it great for both casual meals and special occasions. After passing the restaurant Parlar, you’ll see Franca at the end of the hallway.

The doors are wide open, and the entrance is flat, making it wheelchair friendly. There are tables on both sides, and the staff is always happy to help you find a spot. If you wanted to seat outside in its terrace while watching pedestrians on Macleay street, you can stay in the outdoor area.

Camperdown Cellars

The Tilbury Hotel features tastefully decorated rooms that provide a comfortable stay, with modern amenities designed to cater to the needs of travelers and those enjoying a modern pub atmosphere. Its renovated decor maintains the charm of an old pub, complemented by an outdoor terrace inside the venue, which includes a small waterfall—creating a relaxing and peaceful environment on sunny days.

The hotel has a small step at the main entrance; we believe it is easily accessible but may present some challenges without assistance.

There is also a covered outdoor area at the front that connects to a shared pedestrian space with a wharf view. Inside, the spaces between tables are spacious, making mobility easy.

The venue offers accessible toilets that are quite spacious and easy to navigate, located right next to the indoor terrace.

The Tilbury Hotel

L'Expresso House is a small but very popular café located at the corner of the Woolloomooloo neighborhood, featuring charming decor inspired by the navy and sailors. The café entrance is flat, allowing mobility devices to access its cozy interior,  it might be a bit narrow and you will have to slowly turn into the right to get further. Inside, there are tables and chairs arranged closely together, leaving limited space to navigate.

We believe there is a chance to secure a nice spot if mobility aids are of manageable size. Our advice is to enjoy the outdoor tables or opt for takeaway, which you can order at the counter without issues. Although the counter is a bit high, the staff are happy to assist. You can always take a walk around the wharf afterward.

Please note that the café has no restrooms; the closest facilities can be found at the Ovolo precinct across the road.

L'Expresso House

Darlo Bar in Sydney is a laid-back, retro pub in Darlinghurst with a fun, relaxed vibe. It’s a local favorite with a quirky, vintage interior that gives off a cool, eclectic feel.

The bar mixes in some modern touches with its Victorian-style décor, and there’s plenty of space, plus a pool table right in the middle. It’s super accessible too—everything connects smoothly to the footpath, with a wide entrance and spacious walkways throughout. Inside feels open and welcoming, great for catching up with friends, and they’ve got a mix of low and high tables to suit your style.

If you’re up for more, Darlo Bar has a chairlift to help you get upstairs to the rooftop, or you can stay downstairs and chill out in one of the cosy, social areas.

Artspace Visual Arts Centre is an universally accessible space dedicated to the production and presentation of contemporary art in a critical context.  

 Situated on the waterfront between the escarpment of Potts Point and the Domain Hill.  The entrance to Artspace is easily accessible for wheelchairs, prams and buggies. There is lift access from the ground floor to the first and second floors in The Gunnery building.

Pedestrian access from the Art Gallery of New South Wales to Artspace is via public stairs next to the Ausgrid substation on Lincoln Crescent. Disabled access is via steep gradient behind the Art Gallery of New South Wales onto a pedestrian bridge to a lift on Bourke Street. If you wish to avoid steps, they recommend you come by car, taxi or bus.

Artspace has accessible restrooms in each floor that are easy to reach. At the back of the furthest art room on the ground floor you can find wide accessible toilets. In the first floor, after the lift you turn left and after the corridor you can find accessible toilets. Signs are provided.

Artspace is closed on Mondays and on the following public holidays: Easter Friday, Easter Monday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day.

Admission to exhibitions and public programs is always free.

There is limited metered parking available at the entrance to Artspace on Cowper Wharf Road and at the rear of the building on Bland Street. The publicly accessible Domain Car Park is approximately a 10 minute walk from Artspace.

Other accessible toilets can be found at Wallamulla Park, Kings Cross Library & The Calyx.

The bar provides a spacious outdoor dining area with movable tables and chairs, offering flexibility and comfort for guests. However, the main entrance is narrow and features two very high steps, making it challenging for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility to access the indoor space. Additionally, the venue does not have an accessible restroom or designated disabled parking spaces.

The Waratah

Harry’s cafe on Wheels is a well-known location for takeaway and Australian-style street food, proudly serving customers in Woolloomooloo, Sydney, next to the Naval Harbour. This spot, located at the main entrance of the naval base in Sydney, offers a variety of pies and other handheld bites, along with drinks, making it perfect for a quick lunch break or grabbing a snack on the go.

The counter is slightly high, but the staff is more than willing to assist if needed. The designated seating areas are restricted and may not be spacious enough for a wheelchair. The high dining booths, along with their chairs, are positioned quite close to the counter and to one another, which can make movement a bit tight. However, there are some benches right in front of the kiosk where you can enjoy a quick snack or coffee while seated comfortably.

Harry's Café de Wheels - Woolloomooloo

Sienna Marina is a charming waterfront café and restaurant located in Woolloomooloo. Known for its beautiful views of the harbor and vibrant atmosphere, it serves as a popular spot for both locals and visitors looking to enjoy an early coffee, lunch, or dinner. The nearby Artspace complex adds to the allure, making it a great location to take an artistic break while enjoying views of the harbor.

The venue is quite spacious, featuring both indoor and outdoor areas. The terrace is at a higher level, accessed by some steps at the entrance of the café. However, on the right-hand side of the café, as you face the harbor, you'll find a comfortable outdoor area where you can relax. There are cozy chairs and ample armchairs for your enjoyment.

The restrooms are located inside the venue, but there are no designated accessible toilets. If you can manage the step at the main entrance, you can follow the signs on the right side of the entry toward the toilets. The restrooms are adapted, and the path to them is flat and step-free.

Sienna Marina

Charlie’s Café in Woolloomooloo is a small venue with a humble outdoor seating area that provides the perfect setting for enjoying a morning coffee or leisurely brunch while taking in views of the harbor. The venue has a few steps leading up to the only entrance, which faces the water and Woolloomooloo Bay.

The difficulty of entering the venue may restrict some guests from fully enjoying the experience or accessing the restrooms. However, there are toilets located right across the road in the Ovolo precinct, where the hotel is situated.

Charlies Cafe

Fortuna in Darlinghurst is a delightful spot for those seeking a vibrant dining experience, offering an extensive outdoor seating area conveniently located on the sidewalk. While the outdoor space provides a great alfresco option, the entrance has a very high step, making access challenging for wheelchair users or individuals with mobility difficulties. Situated on a busy street, the restaurant does not have designated disabled parking spaces, which may further limit accessibility. 

Fortuna Drink And Eat

Elizabeth Bay Café is a cozy, welcoming spot on a busy corner of Elizabeth Bay, loved for its specialty coffee and great breakfast options.

It is a little neighborhood café that invites you to have a great day with its vibrant charm. The outdoor seating is perfect for relaxing with a view of the leafy streets, and the menu often features fresh, seasonal ingredients.
 

The main disadvantage of the venue, there’s a prominent step at the entrance, and the inside space is a bit tight, you can still enjoy the laid-back vibe outdoors or grab a takeaway on your way to the Potts Point Market on Saturdays.

Unfortunately, Elizabeth Bay Café does not provide accessible restroom facilities.

Elizabeth Bay Cafe

The Kashbah Hotel on William Street is a lively, fun pub with a great atmosphere and a solid selection of drinks, perfect for a casual night out.

However, being an older building and due to strata regulations, the pub isn’t able to make renovations to improve accessibility. There’s a step at the entrance, and since William Street is a bit hilly, there's a small (about 5 cm) step that helps balance the building, which can be tricky for mobility devices to get over.

Unfortunately, there’s no outside seating area either, so the pub isn’t really accessible for those with mobility needs. It's a great spot for those who can navigate the steps, but not the best choice if accessibility is a concern.

Strand Kasbah

Guests can enjoy the expansive outdoor seating area, designed for comfort and relaxation. The entrance is equipped with a convenient ramp, and the interior is entirely step-free, ensuring seamless access for everyone. To further enhance accessibility, the restaurant includes a fully equipped accessible restroom. For those arriving by car, a designated disabled parking space is conveniently located about 50 meters to the left of the venue.

The Sarah Hotel by Urban Rest

Bar Woolloomoolloo welcomes guests to an impressive hotel situated on a historic wharf, seamlessly blending modern style with a calming atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a work lunch, a productive workspace, or reminiscing with friends.

Located within the Ovolo Hotel complex, Bar Woolloomoolloo features wide automatic glass doors at its flat entrance. To access the bar on the first level, guests should continue further inside to find the lifts located on either side of the staircase. For those who prefer, a lift chair is also available on the right side of the stairs, conveniently located next to the restrooms.

Restrooms are located on the ground floor of the building, including accessible facilities that are well-equipped for users. Additional ambulant toilets can also be found on the premises.

The expansive space surrounding the wharf has been transformed into a hotel and bar on the first level, accommodating mobility devices for all guests.

Woolley Bay Hotel is a stunning Australian-style hotel inspired by old sailing traditions, spread across multiple levels. 

Inside the hotel, the layout is generally open and spacious, allowing for easy navigation in most areas. The hotel offers full accessibility for everyone, featuring a lift that provides seamless access to all levels of the venue, from the ground floor to the rooftop.

The ground floor includes an outdoor terrace and a flat entrance with wide thresholds, inviting everyone to enter and enjoy craft beer and pub specials while having a good time.

The second floor houses Artuor’s restaurant, which is elegant and infused with a touch of Italian romance. This floor also has an outdoor area; however, it is not accessible as it involves several steps leading down to the terrace level. Nonetheless, the lift allows you to reach the main dining area without any issues. The second floor provides breathtaking views, and the indoor and outdoor rooftop areas are all on the same level as the lift and restrooms.

Woolley Bay Hotel offers accessible and spacious restrooms on each floor, ensuring that you will not encounter any accessibility issues, allowing you to fully enjoy your leisure time.
