There is a fixed 12-metre Carrara marble-topped bar, with kitchen on one side of the bench & diners on the other with moveable brown leather stools.  The open kitchen allows the chefs more cooking space, while also giving diners an opportunity to watch the action.

The wine list emphasises Australian makers, & cocktails use locally made gins and whiskies. There's a bar area to sit at, if you're just looking to stop by for a drink & a snack.

Accessible parking can be found at The Gordon on Newcombe Street.  An accessible toilet can be found around 2km away with adult change at the Australian Museum on William Street.

The main entrance to the hotel is flat and wide, providing easy access for wheelchairs. The lower level of the venue is easy to navigate, with plenty of seating options available. You can place your order at the bar, and the staff will bring it to your table, or you can request assistance from your table if needed.

A lift is conveniently located in front of  the main entrance, allowing access to the upper level. Upstairs, you’ll find accessible restrooms close to the open garden area. When you come out of the lift, go straight on and see the garden area in front of you, then on your left, you will see the accessible toilets.

You can follow the numerous signs all along the venue to guide you towards the most accessible areas.

The entire venue is wheelchair accessible, with generous spacing between tables, making it easy to choose the most comfortable seating for your needs.

The only area that is not wheelchair accessible is the smoking area, which has a step. However, if you’d like a smoking break, you can always take the lift back downstairs and step outside for a moment

Woollahra Hotel

Big Mama's is a semi accessible restaurant serving home-made traditional Italian cusine located on Moncur Street, Woollahra.

Simon Says Juice in Darlinghurst is a renowned café celebrated for its fresh juices and healthy offerings.

They’ve recently given the place a fun makeover, making the ground level way more accessible and welcoming. The door is wider, so getting in with your mobility device is a breeze! Just a heads-up: the seating has booth tables, so your device might have to hang out at the end of the booth in the middle of the venue, which could make it tricky for others to get by. But we think it’ll work out just fine! They’ve added a couple of small tables in front of the counter facing the street, making it easy to have a quick stop while waiting for the bus or passing by.

One major inconvenience is the lack of restrooms, which means you’ll need to head to the nearest local pub, The Beacham (10 meters), which has accessible toilets. However, keep in mind that it may not open very early in the morning if you’re an early bird.

Their famous juices are a hit all around Sydney, and the new menu includes a variety of smoothies and bowls, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and a sustainable twist.

Tento is tucked away in a hidden spot at 3/8 Hill Street, Surry Hills. To access the venue, you’ll need to ascend a few steps, but the good news is that a lift chair is available for assistance. Please call the venue in advance to ensure they can accommodate your arrival, as the lift chair is the only way to access the restaurant. Once you’ve used the lift chair, the pathway to the venue is flat.

The café offers a spacious outdoor seating area in front of the main kiosk and counter, as well as an indoor dining space. The indoor area is easily accessible, with a wide and open threshold, allowing you to choose between the terrace and the indoors. The friendly staff are always ready to assist and ensure a comfortable experience at Tento.

Camperdown Cellars

Darlinghurst Courthouse was constructed in 1835-1845 in response to overcrowding issues at King Street Courts.  It was the first purpose-built criminal court in the colony and has been used ever since as a courthouse. The District Court took up residence in the early 1900s, and a new wing to the courthouse was added. In the 1920s, the newly founded High Court moved in, and additional courts were built. Today, Darlinghurst Courts constitute seven courtrooms and hears Supreme Court and District Court matters.

Access to the Courthouse is limited for those with mobility issues  due to it being a historical budiling. Entry is via Oxford Street and a ramp will be deployed to provide access to the venue and an accessible bathroom with be available on-site during the Sydney Festival.

Baker Bleu is an artisanal bakery offering freshly made pastries, sourdough bread, sandwiches, and pizzas. It has a wide, accessible entrance. There is no seating inside, but there are small tables outside the bakery. Accessible toilet facilities are available at the back of the bakery, which requires asking staff for access. Accessible parking spaces are available across the road from Bay Street inside the Cosmopolitan Shopping Centre.

Baker Bleu

Whether you're a ramen enthusiast or trying it for the first time, Bones Ramen offers a delightful dining experience in the heart of Kings Cross.

The restaurant is located on the hill of Bayswater Road and is mostly accessible from the footpath. The entry features a flat surface that transitions into a slight step on one side of the door threshold, which is manageable to navigate with a bit of assistance if needed. Otherwise you can always have some food in their outdoors area. The outdoors tables are quite small and the available spots are on the hill. However, if you can manage a slight steep hill, you can always enjoy their food.

While the dimensions of the entry are not large, they are sufficient for entry. Once inside, the space is somewhat limited, but there is often the possibility of finding a table for you and your guests upon entry.
 

Please note that they do not have accessible toilets, but you can attempt to enter them since the path from the main dining area is relatively easy.

Michael's is a counter-service cafe located at the Cosmopolitan Centre offering gourmet sandwiches, salads, and cakes. There is a step at the outdoor entrance of the venue, although it can be easily accessed through the cafe's entrance from inside the shopping centre, whose step-free entrance is located next to the cafe. Seating inside is reasonably spacious, and there are also outside tables available. Cosmopolitan Centre is a shopping centre in Double Bay, which includes a number of accessible cafes, restaurants, and retail stores offering luxury and style. The entrances into Cosmopolitan Centre are step-free providing ramps at the entrances of the center with wide thresholds. The centre also contains accessible parking spaces in its car park. Cosmopolitan Centre is completely accessible, with its floors having flat surfaces and providing step-free access into the stores, while lifts provide access between the different levels of the shopping centre. Accessible toilets are also available inside the centre, quite spacious and easy to reach.

The inside of the venue may appear a bit small, but it’s spacious enough to view the large-print menu displayed at the counter. However, you can always be served by your waiter in the terrace area.

Public toilets are located inside the Roma Parade precinct and are fully accessible at a flat level. The door is not automatic, so keep in mind that the accessible toilet doors need to be pulled open and locked manually. Toilet handrails are located on the right-hand side of the room.

Disabled parking spots are free to use in the main shopping center parking area, accessible from Kiaora Road. This parking area is located directly opposite the café, across the pedestrian area.

Inside, there’s loads of space, and the bar is not so far from the lift entrance. With wide paths between tables and easy access to accessible bathrooms, with handrails at the back of the first floor, you can order right from your table, and the friendly staff are always around to help, making sure you have a relaxed, enjoyable time at Penny’s!
