Accessible Stroll In National Arboretum CanberraEvents Terrace Loop

    The National Arboretum near Canberra features the Events Terrace Loop, a 0.6km loop trail taking an average of 9 minutes to complete.

    This short accessible path begins & ends from the main car park, which can be reached directly from the Tuggeranong Parkway. The trail is a mix of sealed & gravel path, intentionally wheelchair friendly. The path takes you around the southern side of the village Centre, through a range of gardens including the National Bonsai Collection. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

    Accessible toilets can be found at the Village Centre which is modern & functional with grab rails & under sink roll in. Further accessible toilets can be found at the children's playground. The playground also features accessible swings, a cafe & restaurant can be found closeby.

    There are 11 disabled car parks near the entrance & 3 more outside the Margaret Whitlam Pavilion Function Centre. Three wheelchairs are available for hire
