About this place
This outdoor fitness station is located along the Darley Road edge on the southern side of Queens Park. It includes a range of fixed gym equipment for bodyweight and strength exercises, set within an open park environment.
Access to the fitness station is via wide, paved shared pathways that are smooth and step-free. The surrounding terrain is generally flat with slight undulation, allowing easy movement for wheelchair users along the paths.
The exercise area is set on a rubberised soft surface, which is firm and provides better mobility compared to grass. There is a slight lip at the edge where the rubber surface meets the surrounding ground, but overall access onto the area is manageable.
The equipment is designed for standing use and does not include wheelchair-accessible exercise options.
