Commonwealth Park is a large landscaped accessible park which runs from the city centre to the edge of Lake Burley Griffin. The park is the perfect place to stroll, roll, run, ride, play & picnic with its wide open grassed areas & intimate sculptured gardens, ponds & artworks.
The park includes a large outdoor stage called Stage 88, a permanent stage, which hosts several sporting, cultural & musical events throughout the year, an amphitheatre & a playground called Castle Playground. All these are accessed via paved lead-in pathways.
It's also home to the National Capital Exhibition at Regatta Point & each year is the venue for the nationally acclaimed festival of flowers, Floriade.
Accessible toilets can be found onsite at Commonwealth Park Multi-use at Regatta Place, Regatte Point Building on Barrine Drive. Accessible parking can be found on Constitution Avenue & Allara Street.
