Across the street from North Sydney train station on Blue Street. Exit from North Sydney train station via Blue Street using Easy Gate access. Street crossing is directly across from Blue 36 Cafe. Entrance has a ramp, however venue is small. One door open currently, which would not accommodate width of wheelchair, both doors would need to be open.  2 metres from entrance is counter to order. Floor is blocked by a large barrel in the middle obstructing access to service. Bathroom access would be via entry to Greenwood Plaza which is to the left if the Cafe.  Parking can also be found at the Plaza

Anna Cafe North Sydney

Lovely bar/restaurant. Very open plan seating, easy for a mobility impaired person to get around. Easy access to disabled toilets, with no stairs. Access to venue is via a ramp on 15 Mount street. There is one disabled car spot on Wilson Street on the other side of 15 Mount street, however the car spot backs directly onto a pedestrian crossing so access may be slightly impeded. No other options if that car spot is taken. Easy access from public transport however Mount Street is a steep incline from North Sydney station. 

TreeHouse Hotel

The Treehouse Hotel is an accessible restaurant & bar situated on Miller Street, North Sydney.

The venue is accessed via paved level pathway approach to large wooden entry doors. Inside is bright & funky with exposed brick, candelabras, wooden tables with high backed chairs, leather booths, high tables, stools & a leafy courtyard.

Accessible parking can be found on Miller Street & accessible toilets at Greenwood Plaza.

The Treehouse Hotel

The Treehouse is a restaurant and bar, with easy wheelchair accessible entrance. There is one roadside accessible parking opposite side of the road (near the junction).

Good selection of high and low tables on both side after the entrance. Bar is quite high for ordering. Cafe cashier is lower.

There is an outdoor seating area with low tables and chairs. A small balcony with two steps stairs 

There is an accessible toilet right past the cashier desk on the same level. The toilet has standard facilities for an accessible toilet with a low wash basin. However the toilet was found to be used to store or keep the floor cleaning bucket and mop.

The TreeHouse is an accessible bar, restaurant and cafe located just off of Pacific Highway. Close to public transport with a bus stop and train station near by.
Steps leading up to the main entrance with small inclined ramp/path leading up to a courtyard area where you can access the building.

Billy Barry's is a semi accessible pub situated in Greenwood Plaza on Walker Street, North Sydney.

The venue is accessed via paved level pathway approach to large glass entry doors.  There is a wide staircase leading to the first floor bar, however there is lift access from Greenwood Plaza but this is only in operation during business hours so only till 5pm during the week. There is a second bar, TAB, eating area & accessible toilet located downstairs, however this is via 3 long steps that need to be navigated.

The venue features bar area with high tables with stools, low tables with chairs, chesterfield sofas & comfy booths. pool tables, game machines, access to the bar & serves pub grub.

Roughly 1.2m Wide, with second doory entry also automatic doors and similar width. Doors to each office are Wide. Access to ATM's to the right after entering through the first automatic doors. Wide path for a wheelchair users. However would need to swivel to turn back around and exit after using the atm

Wheelchair accessible via ramps up to church. Ramps are reasonably flat with very slight incline. About 8 meters total length. Access to church via side entrance lift after pressing the buzzer. Disabled toilets available (however unable to be viewed in order to review them). Once inside the church, there is plenty of room for a large wheelchair to be seated at the back of the church at to move up the aisle to receive communion. Beautiful peaceful grounds to enjoy.

Greenhouse is a small chain restaurant on the Northern Beaches serving Asian salads, juices & soups.

The North Sydney branch offers step free entry via paved level pathway approach with easy access to the counter & large window food hatch.   There is only outdoor covered seating available.

Thai Carat is a Thai restaurant on Walker Street, entry way has a small step, tapering off to the left hand side (which only a very slightly off the group, however it is not completely flat to the ground). There are fixed tables & benches inside with moveabe chairs & access to counter.  No outside tables & no toilet (disability or otherwise inside).  Accessible toilets & parking can be found at Greenwood Plaza, further parking at 99 Walker Street & 111 Pacific Highway

Hotel located close to North Sydney station.

Currently no accessible entrance due to renovations December 2022 on the access ramp which looks unsuitable for wheelchair access and is for cars only.

The venue ofers step free entry into a large airy space with huge glass windows.

There is also a large umbrella covered outdoor seating area.

Betty's Burgers is an accessible restaurant, entrance on the corner of Mount Street and Walker Street. Entrance on Mount Street off footpath. Outdoor seating area and indoor seating area. Access to indoor area via two glass doors. Both doors required to be open to enter using a wheelchair. Handles on doors would make it difficult to enter without assistance from staff. Walkway free of obstruction once inside. Counter is low to order, making it easy to speak to staff and order.  Accessible toilets & parking can be found at Greenwood Plaza

Public Coffee is an accessible cafe featuring step free entry to large glass doors.  There are steps at the frojt but there is a side ramp with the entrance on Little Walker Street.

The hotel has 10 accessible suites. All have roll in showers.
Balcony access is not roll in as there is a small step to get over in order to access the balcony.

The Foilage Cafe is a semi accessible eatery located on Blues Point Road.

The cafe features a large wide open doorway with slight step on entry which has a gradien,t steeper one end accessed via paved level pathway approach.  Inside is bright & spacious with a serious leafy vibe access to the counter, banquette seating along one wall, tables with high backed chairs & sofa seating.  There is also a few outdoor covered seating.

Food court with entrance from Pacific Highway and Miller Street.  Wheelchair access from Pacific Highway next to Vibe hotel. Taxi drop off in front of entrance. Accessible toilets can be found in the centre

Northpoint

This cafe is situation on a steep strip of Walker Street. There is no accessibility parking on the street. There is a Wilsons Parking Station a few doors down, but it only had one accessible-park which is currently used for storage.
Access to the cafe is good. There is an unobstructed ramp into the cafe and space on the landing to move around the single table.
Inside the tables are low profile and cashier and goods windows low profile for easy viewing, ordering and access. 
The cafe toilet is via several sets of stairs however there is access in the adjacent building (110 Walker) to a wheelchair accessible toilet (though via some narrow hallways).
Staff were welcoming and helpful.


Charlie & Franks North Sydney

Ground level / wheelchair accessible ATMs and main bank. No accessible toilets (no publicly accessible toilets at all).  Parkig & toilets can be found at Greenwood Plaza

Pub located on Blues Point Road. Main entryway is via a large set of stairs, however there is a side entrance that is flat (to access this requires travelling up a medium inclined hill).

The main pub area is all on one level and has disability toilets. There is also a downstairs area which is in the process of renovations which will include lift access.

There is customer parking, however it is difficult to utilise for those in wheelchairs, so staff advise to drop off outside the venue, or park on the road outside.  

Commodore Hotel

Zealous is an accessible cafe located on Arthur Street with the entrance via little Walker Street, North Sydney.

The cafe offers step free entry via automatic glass entry doors.  Inside is bright & spacious with floor to ceiling windows, access to the counter, high bench tables with stools & low tables with chairs. 

Accessible parkign can be found on Pacific Highway, Walker Street & Mount Street.  Accessible toilets can be found in Greenwood Plaza.  

Zealous Cafe And Catering

Entry is at road level, but there is a significant lip from the footpath up to the entry apron. This would be challenging for manual wheelchairs and trip hazard for crutches / walking frames.  Parking can be found on Ridge Street

McMahons Point community centre - includes hallway for events. Access via a level-surfaced walkway.  Event space is all on an even level.

The North Spoon is an accessible cafe, restaurant & catering situated on Blues Point Road in the heart of Mahons Point.

The neighbourhood cafe is light open & brimming with greenery accessed via paved level pathway approach into white picket fenced garden.  The cafe offers wide step free entry glass entry doors into a bright area with large windows, wooden tables with high backed chairs, banquette window seating & access to the counter.   The outside dining areas features umbrella shaded tables offering a glimpse of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

An accessible designated parking bay can be found further down Blues Point Road.  Accessible toilets can be found under 300m away at Quibaree Park & Greenwood Plaza.

The North Spoon

The North Sppon is an accessible restaurant with two disabled access points into the main restaurant. Indoors there is room to get around but some tables might need to be moved to assist. There are also toilets available, however these are not annulment toilets. Staff members are super friendly and are able to assist.  Accessible toilets can be found at North Sydney Train Station & Greenwood Plaza along with parking 

Access into the building is via wide auto doors off Pacific Highway or Berry street - both with ground level, easy wheelchair access. Access to the cafe is via a powered chair lift directly adjacent the stairs. An accessible toilet for patrons is located direct beside the coffee collection area.

Lavendra is a semi accessible a la carte & tasting menus of upmarket Indian cuisine situated at Lavendar Bay with views over Sydney Harbour.

The venue has steps leading to the restaurant & going into the restaurant so these will need to be navigated. The steps from Lavender Street are steep & they ones from Walker Lane are large & wide. 

The interior of the restaurant is elegant with high ceilings, canderliers & white clothed tables with views over Sydney Harbour.  There are limited tables & chairs outside.

Accessible designated parking bays can be found across the road outside the church.  Accessible toilets can be found under 100m away at Quibaree Park & 300m away at Greenwood Plaza.

Citrus & Spice is an accessible cafe via ramp access via North Sydney Medical Centre (next door). Wide entry sliding door, but not motorised. No accessible toilet on premises (stairs down to toilet) but one can be found at Greenwood Plaza on Blue Street, parking on Ridge Street

There is a luxury country house vibe with here rich timber panelling, the soft mid-century corners of the see-and-be-seen mirrors, the brass-lined archways.

Charlotte Bar & Bistro

Loulou Bistro, Boulangerie (bakery) & Traiteur (delicatessen) is an accessible French restaurant located in the neighbourhood setting of Lavender Bay, North Sydney.  

Loulous offers step free entry via glass double entry doors into spacious restaurant with plenty of seating options from sharing tables, smalled tables with banquette seating & high back chairs, seating booths, access to the bar with high stools & view of the chefs at work in the kitchen.   There is also a large covered casual outdoor seating area.

Accessible toilets can be found closeby at Milsons Point Train Station & Quibaree Park.  Regular street seating is closeby with accessible parkingfurther away on Pacific Highway.

Loulou Bistro, Boulangerie & Traiteur

One of the most spectacular public gardens in Sydney, Wendy’s Secret Garden has been continuously created like a giant living painting since 1992, by Wendy Whiteley, artist in her own right, and wife and muse of Australia's eminent artist, Brett Whiteley.



In October 2015, what began as a guerilla garden was safeguarded, when North Sydney Council was granted a 30+30 year lease of Wendy's Secret Garden by the NSW Government.
 


Wendy’s Secret Garden – which is no longer a secret! – is nestled in Lavender Bay, just a short walk from the Sydney Harbour Bridge. This is a haven where locals and visitors can explore the tiered gardens with flowering plants, as well as views to the Harbour Bridge. Explore pathways that reveal striking sculptures that range from fine works to rustic pieces. Enjoy a picnic or relax at one of the tables or benches.

Wendy's Garden is not wheelchair accessible. There are steep inclines and a range of steps. Visitors with limited mobility may only access the uppermost sections of the garden via Clark Park.
 


The garden has recently undergone improvements to make the space more welcoming and accessible. A series of ramps have been added within the garden to allow visitors to navigate the garden’s levels with greater ease and gain access to the garden’s lower areas.

Cafe Lost & Found is an accessible venue with ramp access to main entry door (non-auto door) which is quite narrow. Decent sized lip down into cafe that would make exiting in a manual wheelchair difficult. Very cluttered and pokey inside, no real thought for accessibility. Toilets are at ground level, but not accessibility friendly.   Accessible toilets can be found at North Sydney Oval on Ridge Street along with parking

Anchor is an accessible Italian cafe & Pizzeria tucked away under a high rise building on the corner of Alfred Street and Lavender Street in Milson Point.  

Inside features a bright & spacious space with floor to ceiling windows freestanding tables with hig backed chairs & wooden banquette seating.  There is a large coverded outdoor seating area.

There is flat access from the street to the hotel.

Mani is an accessible Chinese & Asian fusion restaurant situated on Alfred Street in Milsons Point.

The family owned & operated restaurant is accessed via paved level pathway approach to step free entry.  There is both a downstairs & upstairs dining area although there is no lift access so book ahead for downstairs seating.  There is also a leafy covered outdoor street seating area.

Accessible toilets can be found closeby at Quibaree Park, only regular street parking is available. 

Delicado

Sidando is an accessible cafe situated on Alfred Street, Milson Point.

The cafe features step free entry via paved level pathway approach to large open double glass doors.  Inside is bright & spacious with floor to ceiling windows, freestanding tables, chairs, banquette seating & access to the counter. There is a large 6 seater table, fully stocked bookcase, bright mural, chandelier, hanging greenery & large alfreso covered dining are.

Regular street parking is available, accessible toilets at Milson Point train station, Quibaree Park & Kirribilli Neighbourhood Centre which also has an accessible parking bay at the front.

Sidando Cafe

Bay Pizza offers easy entrance (no steps) with door wide enough to fit a wheelchair
Takeaway only so no seating space but shouldnt be any issues collecting food
No bathroom onsite but can be found at Greenwood Plaza along with parking
