The Rising Sun Workshop caters for people with accessibility needs. They provide a ramp to the main foyer and has ample seatings inside. There is also a large accessibility bathroom located inside. Located off the main road, so parking is available.

There's a level front entrance, with a standard doorway. Wide space between tables and bar, easy to get through to back area and to the toilets, as long as bar isn't 5 deep. 

There's a mixture of high tables and stools and low tables and sofas. The back area opens up into a fairly wide space. 

The toilet is semi-accessible - it has no rails and is not marked as accessible (it's the one marked for women). There's a small lip to get into toilet, so you need to pop a wheely if you're in a manual chair. A powered chair should have no problem (see the photo). If you need rails to transfer you will have to bring a friend or carer in to assist.

The ramp leading to the main entrance is accessed on street level via Wilson St. The closest train station with wheelchair access is Redfern Station which recently underwent upgrades to improve accessibility, however Platforms 11 and 12 (Eastern Suburbs Railway and Illawarra Line) are only accessible via stairs or escalator. Taxis can enter at 229 Wilson St (opposite Queen St) for level access entry.

For patrons with mobility restrictions or wheelchairs, level access and accessible seating is available in all theatres. There are wheelchair accessible toilets on site.

With its industrial-chic design, vintage motorcycles on display, and a laid-back café serving delicious food and coffee, Deus Ex Machina Camperdown attracts enthusiasts and curious visitors alike.

Located on Gadigal land, the Chau Chak Wing Museum is a hub for sharing the University of Sydney's extensive collections with the wider community. 

Officially opened in 2020, the Museum comprises three separate collections within one multidisciplinary institution. This Spanish tapas bar has been serving authentic Spanish cuisine since 1997, offering an immersive experience with homemade recipes and vibrant, flamboyant Spanish decor.

The venue is spacious, with a dining area that accommodates mobility devices, ensuring everyone can enjoy a genuine Spanish experience.

The main entrance is accessible via a ramp, allowing easy entry for all guests. After entering the venue, you’ll find easy seating options to the right, or you can venture further in to enjoy a Spanish football-themed decor
 

Restrooms are located at the end of the venue. The ladies’ restroom includes ambulant features and is accessible via ramped pathways. While the door to the accessible restroom may require manual assistance, it is manageable, just a heads-up: there are no handrails in the toilets. The men’s restroom is a bit further, up a small step.

For a true Spanish experience, visit on Mondays for half-priced tapas or on weekends, when they have live flamenco shows during dinner.

The Dispensary 1908 is an accessible coffee, breakfast & lunch house with step-free front & no door.  The venue has a lovely history originally designed as a private residence back in 1896, 33 Glebe Point Road functioned as the Sydney United Friendly Society Dispensary from January 1909.  Patients would bring in their own bottles and jars and purchase ointments, leeches, cod liver oil, lime water, camel hair brushes, poppy heads and chamomile flowers.

The Wedge is an accessible restaurant with step-free  entry to a manual door which staff will open for you.		
Table spacing allows for a wheelchair to fit easily.
There are tables and high stools & the seating is not fixed to the floor.  		
There is no outside seating or accessible toilet
but ones can be found at the lower ground & ground floors at Broadway Shopping Centre along with parking.  There is also accessible parking nearby, you can either park on the street or there a carpark 300meters away on Francis St.

Otto Noorba is a semi-accessible Mediterranean, Italian and Modern Turkish Restaurant with step-free front to outdoor seating but steps to go inside venue and ramp accessibility.  There is no door entry & table spacing allows for a wheelchair to fit easily.  There are tables, non fixed seating & outside seating.	
There is an accessible toilet onsite along with further toilets on ground & lower ground floors at Broadway Shopping Centre along with parking.

Otto Noorba

Soul Burger is a semi accessible roadside restaurant with ledge leading to footpath, but the pedestrian crossing next to restaurant and the path at the corner of Mitchell St and Glebe Point Road has a slope that seems accessible

Steve Costi's Seafood

A bright airy cafe with upbeat staff and a great menu.   Luca and Connie were thrilled we were there to check them out and extended a cheerful invitation.  A favourite with local nursing home residents, local school community and mums with prams.
Dropped curb access from the road but no dedicated parking.  A lot of locals use the nearby church parking and comply with community requests to vacate that during school recess times. Some pavement seating plus an accessible ramp into the main cafe. The entry way is always open and requires two quick left turns to enter then a right turn to the low counter to order.
The accessible toilet is to the rear of the property, reached by heading back down the ramp, which is undercover.  The day I was there the door was not marked as accessible toilet, and felt a little heavier than average.  The door opens inwards to the right, basin and mirror at an accessible height immediately opposite the door.  The toilet is a right hand transfer and is in the far left corner.  Lights need to be manually flipped on when entering.

Bad Habits Annandale

An accessible venue with no doors, lift, escalator and ramp access from carpark or street level 		
There is basic signage at entry.  	
Food court seating, depending on available seats, wheelchair can fit easily or wheelchair fits with assistance.
Seating is fixed to floor & there is no outside seating	
Accessible toilet is shared with the shopping centre toilets & wheelchair access available.
Accessible parking is located on level 2 of car park, the same level as restaurant

Eat Istanbul

Mr Wu is an accessible dumpling ar with a lift less than 100 metres from the restaurant to lower ground. There is a ramp to access the lift from lower ground. Closest parking is on level 2 and accessible by ramp, but is a few hundred metres away from the restaurant.		
There are no entry doors with the restaurant being inside the food court. Accessible levels marked near lifts in shopping centre but no signs directing to the restaurant.		
Wheelchair fits with assistance around the tables & no outside seating.	
Accessible toilet is available in the shopping centre on the same level, shared with the other  food court venues.
Accessible parking is nearby on the level 2 car park with ramp access to the food court		


Mr. Wu Dumpling Bar

This is a take away cakes pies and pork rolls shop. There are two steps at the entrance, though if you wish you can give a shout or the staff should notice you and take your order.

Priceline Broadway

Kürtősh at Marrickville Metro offer great  coffee and amazing baked goods. The Front entrance and entrance to outdoor seating area are massively wide and fully accessible. The counters are low so wheelchair users can be seen. The space itself is massive with plenty of room to maneuver around and there is plenty of space between tables to allow wheelchair users to pull up  to a table comfortably and still have plenty of room for people to pass by without bumping or kicking your chair. Staff are friendly. There are fully accessible bathrooms in the shopping centre the 2nd floor accessible bathroom (accessible by lift) even has a hoist, and shower in it.

Nandos is an accessible venue with no doors & escalators, ramps and lifts located nearby from the carpark and disabled parking.
There is basic signage at entry to Broadway		
Table spacing depends on seating location, wheelchair fits with assistance.  There is a combination of tables, benches and high stools		
with seating fixed to floor & outside seating.
There is an accessible toilet with wheelchair access, shared with other venues located in the shopping centre.

Nando's Broadway S/C

This is a spacious and lovely french restaurant.  The owner was extremely friendly and chatty and proud how accessible he had made his restaurant, including an accessibility toilet. There are large doors at the entrance and sufficient space around the tables.

La Grillade restaurant 

CLEM'S is a beloved family-owned eatery, known for its freshly prepared chicken dishes and hearty meals made with traditional recipes.

The main entrance features a small ramp, making it accessible for disabled or wheelchair users, while the side entrance has a single step that requires caution. Although the restaurant has no outdoor seating, the cozy indoor space is compact, with fixed high-bar tables that may not suit all guests. There is no accessible restroom available, and while Brown St nearby offers plenty of parking spaces, there are no designated disabled parking spots.
