Canberra Walk In Aviary is an accessible aviary located 15 minutes from the city centre in Federation Square which is located in Gold Creek Village off the Barton Highway, Nicholls.
Entrance to the aviary is located directly behind the Green Gold Garden Centre. The Canberra Walk in Aviary is both pram and wheelchair friendly featuring step free entry via paved level pathway approach. It offers visitors the chance to have an interactive experience where you can observe, photograph & feed the friendly free-flying birds as they fly in the large 1000 square metre planted aviary. With over 60 different species from Australia & around the world you can count 600 friendly free flying birds including over 250 parrots, 350 finches, quail & pheasants.
Accessible toilets can be found 2km away at Casey Market Town & Crace Recreation Park. Parking can be found just outside the venue.
