    About this place

Calga Reserve is a scenic cliff‑top park located along the Bondi to Coogee coastal walking track. The reserve offers expansive ocean views and open green space, making it a popular spot for walking, picnicking, and quiet relaxation. Visitors often pause at the lookout to enjoy the coastal scenery, and the park is also dog‑friendly. One designated accessible parking space is located directly outside the reserve on Calga Place. From the entry point, a rough paved concrete surface leads onto a wide, smooth pathway with a gentle incline. A drinking station is positioned along this path near the entrance. To the right of the pathway is a grassed park area with low‑cut lawn, short trees, and a single picnic bench for seating. As the pathway continues, an accessible viewing area with seating is located above the lookout platform. Access to the lookout platform itself requires descending 11 steps, where additional seating is provided. Further sets of steps are required to reach the connecting path to the coastal walk. There are no public transport services or public toilet facilities located near the reserve.
