Brunswick Heads is a pretty seaside town located on the North Coast of NSW about 20 minutes drive north of Byron Bay. Brunswick Heads Main Beach is a wide flat sandy beach is popular with families & visitors. Brunswick Heads Surf Lifesaving Club is responsible for patrolling the area on weekends and public holidays from September to April each year. There is a wide track designed for wheelchair access and free of charge hire of a sand-cruiser beach wheelchair from the nearby Brunswick Heads Community Centre located next to the tennis courts which are across the road from the SLSC. Showers are located at a number of beach entrances and the nearest amenities block is directly in front of the tennis courts opposite the beach entrance where the SLSC & tower are located. Plenty of places to park along this road, with grassy dunes leading down to the beach. Between these is a nature strip interspersed with park benches and picnic tables under shady trees. There are 2 riverside playgrounds, nearby plenty of eateries & a very flat town to meander.
