Gong Cha is a takeaway bubble tea shop in Bondi Junction that even provides carry bags for your drinks. The entrance is wide and step-free, and the interior is spacious and welcoming, making it easy to access with a mobility device.

The counter is at standing height, but still manageable, and staff are generally happy to assist if needed.

There are no toilets available on-site, but accessible public toilets can be found nearby at Bondi Junction train station and Westfield shopping centre.

Sushi Yard is a small takeaway sushi shop located right next to the Royal Arcade, which connects Oxford Street with Spring Street in Bondi Junction. The venue is compact with no seating available, making it ideal for a quick grab-and-go meal.


The entrance is flat and slightly tilted and the space is tight. There are to small chairs at the end of the shop

Flames Chargrill Chicken in Bondi Junction is a small venue known for its delicious takeaway options. The space inside is very limited, with just a few small tables closely aligned, making it difficult to access with a mobility device.

The counter is quite high, which may be challenging for some customers.

The closest accessible public toilets are in Bondi Junction train station.

FLAMES CHARGRILL

 The Royal Arcade is primarily a pedestrian passage connecting Oxford Street and Spring Street in Bondi Junction. It’s a public throughway rather than a destination venue, but several shops and services are located within.
 

The layout includes a central staircase, which separates the arcade into two side corridors. These side paths are step-free and fairly wide, making them accessible for most mobility devices, although they may accommodate only one user at a time in tighter spots.

The entrances at both ends are flat, with slight ramps, making it easy to access from either direction. There is no dedicated accessible toilet within the arcade, and parking is not available on-site, but Westfield and Eastgate Shopping Centres nearby offer accessible parking options.

The Royal Arcade

This café is a very accessible spot in the heart of Bondi Junction.

The entrance features a wide ramp, making it easy to get in. While the venue is small, there’s enough space for mobility devices to comfortably reach a low table. The counter is at a reasonable height, making it fairly easy to access as well.


There aren‘t restroom in the premise. 

Nurish Cafe

Bondi Medical Centre is located between Oxford Street and Spring Street. The corridors are wide and flat, making them easy to navigate. However, to reach the medical centre itself, you’ll need to go up a set of stairs, as there is no lift access currently available.


There are not lifts nor public toilets. The closest  accessible public toilets are in Bondi Junction train station, in Grafton street. 

Bondi Medical Centre

Priceline Farmacy in oxford street offers a wide ramp to get in and out of the building. Inside, corridors are quite wide and with enough soace to manoeuvre a device. Counters  are thought for people standing.

The Eastgate entrance offers step-free access via a wide street entry. The interior is generally spacious, although the central market area can narrow the walkways slightly.

A unisex accessible bathroom is clearly signposted and features an automatic door. Please note that a second accessible unisex bathroom is currently out of order.

Escalators and lifts provide access to all floors. The car park entrance includes wide automatic doors and a fair number of accessible parking spaces located near the lifts. Real-time signage is available to indicate the number of accessible spots currently available. Ramp access is also provided to each floor.

Please note that the west side entrance is only accessible via stairs.

The centre includes numerous cafés and restaurants, most of which offer wide and accessible seating arrangements.

Eastgate Bondi Junction

This CBA branch offers an outdoor ATM, which is at a standing height and may be difficult to use for some wheelchair users.

The entrance to the branch is flat, with a ramp leading to a wide entry threshold, making it accessible for mobility aids such as wheelchairs and walkers. The entry is spacious and easy to navigate.

Bondi Junction Train Station is almost fully accessible for wheelchair users and people with mobility needs.

There are entry ramps to all entrances, including the ones on Oxford and Grafton street. These entry ramps are clearly signposted at all stair cases. The ramps are not steep. 

There are stairs, escalators and lifts to get to each floor of Bondi Junction station. The lift is clearly located on each level, and has signage pointing to it.

There are wheelchair accessible bathrooms on the first floor where the buses are located. The doors are somewhat heavy from the outside. There is also one wheelchair accessible bathroom on the level of the trains.

The doors at the bus station are motion activated from the inside, and have a push button to open from the outside. 

There is a wheelchair accessible barrier into the train station platforms.

The boarding assistance ramp is located next to the customer service office on each of the platforms. This is clearly indicated by signage on the walls, as well as a sign on the floor which indicates for you to stand there for help. In order to access the boarding ramp, simply talk to one of the customer service representatives, and they will be able to assist you.

There is an accessible drop off area on Grafton Street, out the front of the station.

Bondi Junction Train Station

Cosmopolitan Café is located on the corner of Oxford Street and Bronte Road. It offers outdoor seating on a terrace, where the small tables are placed closely together, but still allow for access and use by many people with mobility requirements.

The entrance is flat, followed by a gentle ramp leading inside. The counter is quite high, but the staff are friendly and accommodating, and can assist or guide you to a table. While the indoor space isn’t very wide, it’s still navigable for most mobility aids, and the café is often visited by locals using wheelchairs or walkers.

The toilets are located at the back of the venue. The corridor leading there is narrow but passable. However, there is no designated accessible toilet. The toilet doorway is narrow and opens inward, making it difficult to manoeuvre inside, especially for wheelchair users. Only standard toilets are available.

Cosmopolitan Cafe Bondi Junction

Located along Bronte Rd in one of the main strips of Bondi Junction Grilled is an accessible eatery. With a small ramp up to the balcony, there is lots of table space along the outdoor tables with a big wide entrance inside. Inside there is an elevated area that has some stairs, however the rest of the indoor seating is spacious and accessible.

The only downsides are the lack of available parking, the Westfield parking is the best option for accessible parking. Additionally there is no onside bathrooms, the best option for this is likely also the Westfield facilities due to its close proximity. 

Grill'd Bondi Junction

Charlotte's cafe is located on level 1. 
 

The closest accessible bathroom is located 100 meters to the right of the Charlotte cafe on level 1. 

The closest lift is the Lift Lobby, located approx. 25 meters to the right.

The closest travellators that take you to the Lift Lobby carpark are located 15 meters to the right.

The closest accessible parking is P4 Violet underground carpark. Access to P4 violet via the Lift Lobby North located approx. 200 meters to the right of Charlotte's cafe. There are accessible parking bays just in front of the lifts.

Starbucks Bondi Junction

Located near the Bronte Road entrance of Bondi Junction Westfield the McDonald’s is a convenient place to eat with accessible but tight seating.

While there is a ramp up to the eating area, there are lots of tables crammed into one space. There are accessible bathrooms nearby further into the shopping centre if you follow the signs. For parking in the Westfield carpark the best major parking area here is on P4 violet as it has many accessible spots. McDonald's Bondi Junction Westfield

Shizen is a small Japanese restaurant located in Bondi Junction. It has a car port, this is not commonly for public use and is also not step free, your best means of arrival would be to walk or travel from a separate location. There is a fair amount of table space depending on your level of mobility. Additionally there is a  bathroom with a rail, however the approach to the bathroom is behind the counter and down a cluttered hallway, with no alternative access. 

Shizen sushi & more

Club Bondi Junction is located just a short ways from the Westfield and main strip of Oxford Street in Bondi Junction. It has a carpark that is members only, so you’ll need to inquire about this first before visiting. There is also two street entrances that are both accessible, one through the Leaf cafe entrance (Gray St) that has a second internal door that leads into the club, as well as another entrance with a ramp on Bronte Rd.

Inside the club there is lots of space between all the different sections, some more than others, depending on how busy it is. There are also multiple accessible bathrooms on site, one towards the TAB inside the club, and another in the cafe adjoining. 

Club Bondi Junction

Built within the same building as Club Bondi Leaf cafes entrance is on a little side street of Bondi Junction (Gray St) near the Westfield and main strip of Bondi Junction. Due to the cafe being built into Club Bondi all of Club Bondi’s facilities are available such as bathrooms, and the carpark. The carpark is members only so make sure to inquire ahead of time on the availability of the carpark.

Within the cafe there is lots of space, however towards the counter and windows it may be slightly cramped if busy. There is also its own bathroom onsite in the main room with a rail and lots of space. 

Leaf Cafe & Co Bondi

Bondi Grand Hotel is a great accessible establishment. Slightly further away from the main area of Bondi Junction. It has its own carpark, which I found to be a little confusing. The lift to get down to the garage needs a key from staff, and once i was down there, it was unclear where it would be appropriate to park. As it all seemed like a goods area. Staff assured that you can park here but do at your own discretion. The main entrance on Elbey St is accessible and leads into all the main areas just fine (excluding the games area).

Inside the bar there is lots of space in and around tables and in main areas. Due to the building being on a slop there is lots of stairs in between areas along the bar however behind the bar and before the kitchen there is a large ramp that goes between each area. The bathrooms and garage lift is located along this ramp. The bathroom is in great condition due to it being under lock and key, so to use this bathroom you’ll need to ask staff to come open in for you. 

The Grand Hotel

The restaurant offers stair-free access from a wide street entrance; however, a sign positioned near the front slightly reduces the entryway’s width. The entrance features a glass manual door that is typically propped open.

The outdoor seating area is quite cramped and may not comfortably accommodate wheelchair users. The indoor seating area is more spacious and offers better manoeuvrability.

Home Thai

The venue offers stair-free access, with a clearly signposted accessible ramp at one entrance. An alternate entry includes stairs. Both indoor and outdoor seating areas are wide and spacious.

A unisex accessible bathroom is located nearby. It is equipped for accessibility, but a key must be obtained from staff to access it.

O Superfood

The park features a walkway with relatively smooth terrain, though some areas may be slightly uneven. Most of the park consists of grassed areas.

A community garden is located within the park but is only accessible via a narrow set of stairs. The playground does not include any wheelchair-adapted equipment.

There are several benches throughout the park, though no designated picnic areas.

Clementson Park

There is limited seating available. More seating can be found at the food court located to the left of Glowbar.

The closest accessible toilet is located in the food court, approx. 80 meters to the left, continue straight ahead and round to the left.

Globar Bondi Junction

Harry's is located on level 1 of the shopping centre.

There is a decent amount of space between tables.

The closest accessible bathroom on level 1 is located in between St George and fone king approx. 80 meters straight ahead. 


The closest lifts are the Lift Lobby South, directly to the right of Harry’s cafe.

The closest accessible parking is P4 violet level Zone L.  Access to accessible parking on P4 violet via the Lift Lobby South. There are accessible parking bays just to the left of P4 violet Lift Lobby South and there is an accessible ramp located just to left of the lifts. 
 

Harry's Coffee & Kitchen

Pappa Flock is on level 3, located by the Bronte Road entry to the shopping centre.

The closest accessible toilet on level 3 is located approx. 80 meters straight ahead, then turn left at Sephora. Continue for another 50 meters, and it will be on your left. The closest lifts which are the Lift Lobby lifts, are located in the same place as the accessible toilet.

The best accessible parking is located on R1 aqua zone Q-R rooftop parking, which can be accessed via the Lift Lobby lifts.

The closest lift is the Lift Lobby located approx. 25 meters to the right of blesses bowls.

Blessed Bowls Bondi Junction

The food court is located on level 5 of the shopping centre.

There is plenty of seating available. There is a lot of inside seating available including average height tables and chairs, long bench tables with bench seating, and high tables with high stool seating.

The main seating area in the centre of the food court, the floor is slightly elevated. There are stairs located by Sushi Hub.  There is also a built-in ramp located by Mad Mex that can be used to access this area.

There is outside seating available that can be accessed by the door to the left of Lobster Tail. The door is an automatic sliding door.

The door to enter the toilet is automatic. There is a green button located to the side of the door that can be pressed for the door to automatically open. 

The door will automatically close. Once the door is closed, push the red button located on the wall inside the accessible bathroom to lock. Push the Green button below to unlock and open the door to exit the bathroom.

The automatic door will either open inwards or be an automatic sliding door.

Westfield Bondi Junction

Sourdough Bakery is located inside the Bondi Junction Westfield along the bridge connecting the two sides of the shopping centre on level 4. The two best parking options are either R1 Aqua or P4 Violet since they have dedicated accessible parking areas. Additionally bathrooms access here is easy as there are many options around and every directions if you follow the signs. 
The seating for Sourdough is located along the bridge by the windows with lots of opportunities for space and lighting. 

Sourdough Bakery

Saber Street Reserve is a small park in Bondi.

The entrance is not blocked by any obstacles, and it has a path leading directly through the park. 

The ground is uneven, with many trip hazards. 

The park benches and picnic areas can only be accessed by going over uneven grass patches.

There is no accessible or ambulant toilets. The closest one is located inside Bondi Junction Train Station, roughly 300 meters away.

There are two accessible parking spaces located nearby on Rowe Street.

Saber Street Reserve

Top Juice is a juice bar chain serving juices, salads, smoothies & meals using 100% natural, raw, preservative free ingredients.

The Greenwood Plaza branch offers step free entry via level path approach to large open plan entry. There is easy access to the food counter, with both takeaway & eat-in options with freestanding seating in the food court.

Accessible toilets & parking can be found in the shopping centre.

Top Juice Bondi Junction Level 1

Located on level 5 of Bondi Junction Westfield, Sabine cafe is a small coffee stand with seating across the bridge between the two sides of the shopping centre that goes over Oxford Street. Not to be confused with Sourdough cafe located in the same spot on the bridge 1 level bellow on level 4. The best parking options are on P4 Violet and R1 Aqua as they are dedicated accessible parking zones. Additionally bathrooms are located all around the shopping centre if you follow the signs in any direction. Along the bridge Sabine has lots of seating along the windows on the bridge. The cafe counter is also accessible being fairly low and with lots of space around. 

Sabine Bondi Junction

Located on one of the main entrances of Bondi Junction Westfield along Oxford Street, Precinct Cafe is an easy to access medium sized cafe.

For bathrooms and parking, using the Westfield’s facilities are the best option. Parking areas of special zones for accessible parking on certain levels and there are lots of bathroom areas that contain accessible bathrooms. For more information, consult the Westfield Bondi Junction posting.

While the cafe is located on a slightly elevated platform, there is a way to access via a short ramp near the main counter. While there is some access however, space can be a bit restricted here due to the narrow passageways and steps along the sides that lead to the larger table areas of the cafe. Alternatively there is some outdoor seating along Oxford Street however it is quite busy and may be unpleasant for some. 

Precinct Cafe

Pattison's Patisserie is located on level 1 of the shopping centre. 

There is seating available around the counter; however, there is limited space in between some of the tables. 

The closest accessible toilet is located approx. 100 meters to the straight ahead of the cafe.

The closest lift is the Lift Lobby located approx. 45 meters straight ahead and on the left.

The closest accessible parking is located on P4 yellow zone M-N, which can be accessed via the Lift Lobby lifts. There are only 2 accessible parking bays to the left of the lifts on P4 yellow.

The best accessible parking is R1 Aqua rooftop parking on level 6 of the shopping centre. Access via the Lift Lobby lifts and continue to level 6.

Pattison’s Patisserie

Ima Sushi is located on level 1 of the shopping centre. 

There is a large entryway and no door to enter. There is a decent amount of space between the order counter and the tables. The space in between the tables is limited.

The closest accessible toilet is located approx. 80 meters to the left of Ima Sushi.

The closest lift is the Lift Lobby located approx. 30 meters to the left. 

The closest accessible parking is located on P4 yellow zone M-N, which can be accessed via the Lift Lobby lifts; however, there is only 2 accessible parking bays to the left of the lifts on P4 yellow.

The best accessible parking is R1 Aqua rooftop parking on level 6 of the shopping centre. Access via the Lift Lobby lifts and continue to level 6. 

Ima Sushi


Enter Bondi Junction Westfield on level 3 via Oxford street. 

There is seating outside the cafe available, however, this is still inside the shopping centre. 

There is a decent amount of space in the entryway. There is no door to open to enter the cafe.

There is limited space between each table inside. The walkway inside the cafe is fairly narrow. 
 

There is no accessible bathroom on site. The closest accessible toilet is approx 200 meters to the right of Luxe.

The closest lifts are the Lift Lobby North approx 60 metres to the right of Luxe.  
 

Accessible parking 
The closest accessible parking is P4 violet level Zone L, which can be accessed via the Lift Lobby North.  There are accessible parking bays just to the left of the lifts on P4 violet and and accessible ramp to left of the lifts.

Luxe Bar

Located on level 2 in the middle of Westfield Bondi Junction Cafe Capri is a smallish cafe with an elevated seating area.

While it is elevated with steps providing access there are ways to avoid the steps to gain access. The main counter is located on the side of the hallway, away from the seating area. Due to this it becomes a high traffic area with other shoppers and staff walking through the narrow spaces.

For the parking and bathroom information, consult the main posting of Bondi Junction Westfield. There are two designated accessible parking areas, one in the basement parking and another in the rooftop parking. Additionally there is lots of different bathroom areas located around the whole Westfield never too far away from any given area. Each with similar designs and facilities within each. 

Cafe Capri Bondi Junction

Billy the pig is a bar located along Oxford street in Bondi Junction with an entrance inside the Westfield as well.

For parking here the Westfield parking would be the easiest as they have allocated accessible parking spaces throughout the car park. The Oxford Street entrance, while it is the main entrance and has some seating areas on the street, has large steps that hinder access into the main part of the bar. While it blocks out the main part of the bar it does have access to some lifts that go further upstairs (not usually for public use) as well as the sports bar / TAB.

During my visit I could not find any bathrooms however as it is attached to the Westfield, there are accessible bathrooms available here. For more information on the Westfield facilities consult the posting for Bondi Junction Westfield.

As for space inside the bar, many of the tables are quite high however there is lots of low tables and plenty of space between them. 

Billy The Pig

Boost Juice is located on level 5, a short distance from the food court.

There is no seating available directly by Boost Juice. The closest seating is located in the food court which is located a short distance straight ahead from Boost Juice.

The closest accessible toilet is located approx. 25 meters straight ahead, then make a left at the Polymath Inc cafe. 

The closest lift is located approx. 15 meters in front of Boost Juice.

The closest accessible parking is R1 aqua zone Q-R rooftop carpark which can be accessed via the Lift Lobby (which is the closest lift). 

Boost Juice

Event Cinemas Bondi is a very accessible cinema as most Event Cinemas are. The entrance is via a lift near Max Brenner on level 6 tucked away under the stairs. This lift leads up 2 levels, the first being the arcade area, and the second being the box-office and candy bar. The location of the accessible toilet is on the top level on the walkways towards the main foyer from the lift. The foyer and candy bar are all accessible with large spaces around that enable movement, during busy periods it may be hectic.

Inside the cinemas (no photos provided) there should be accessible seating available, specifically reserved for those with access needs.

The best location for parking is on R1 Aqua as there is a dedicated accessible parking area, and is only a short distance away to where the cinema is on the top level. 

Event Cinemas Bondi Junction

The BP is a petrol station and convenience shop with an accessible parking space located in front of the shop. There is a ramp leading to wide, automatic doors and wide aisles for maneouvering. There is only one ambulant toilet which requires a key from staff to access. 

The Vernon Coffee offers relatively wide access from the side street, with side street parking available nearby. The café features outdoor seating with smaller tables, though space may be limited.

The interior of the café is compact, and there is a step at the entrance leading from the outdoor area. 

There is no designated accessible street parking nearby, The closest one is almost 400 m away and accross the big road : 26 Spring Street, Bondi Junction, New South Wales, 2022

The Vernon Coffee

The doorways are narrow, and they have steps leading up to the building. There is currently no portable ramp.

The inside of the cafe is quite cramped, and a wheelchair would not fit between the tables. None of the tables are bolted down and can be moved and rearranged.
