Accessible Park & Garden In Bolton PointBolton Point Park
Bolton Point Park is situated on the western side of Lake Macquarie, lined with pine trees & a fantastic view of the lake.
There is a small unfenced playground on woodchips within the park with a variety of play equipment including slides, swings & roundabouts.
There are four picnic tables dotted across the park and one sheltered picnic area with 2 tables and electric BBQ in the middle. The park also has a court with a netball & basketball hoop & sealed path that leads through the path ending at the edge of the park changing into an unsealed walking trail. Follow the trail for a five-minute walk across a little bridge to arrive at Bolton Point Cricket Oval and Tennis Courts. There is one picnic table at the Oval.
There is a a boat ramp and jetty at the park with beautiful views of Fennel Bay bridge and across to Toronto.
There are regular public toilets within the park, closest accessible ones can be found at Bay Road Park. There is a sealed path from carpark to the toilets, hall, jetty and sheltered area. There are no sealed paths to the playground. A water fountain can be found at the public toilets.
There is a hall at the park that can be hired for parties and events. It has wheelchair access ramp to the inside of the hall and is right next to the playground. Phone Lake Macquarie City Council (02) 4921 0333 for more information.
