Blue Poles Park commemorates Jackson Pollock’s Blue Poles artwork, which the National Gallery of Australia controversially bought in 1973 for $1.3 million – then a world record for a contemporary American painting. Prime Minister Gough Whitlam approved the purchase.
The Blue Park has electric bbq area & some shaded picnic areas.
There are swings, tunnels and a water park to keep the kids happy.
Accessible Parking is available but not too many spots available.
Accessible bathrooms are available :OPEN 7am -9pm during daylight savings.
