    Blackman Park at Lane Cove has lots to offer from bushwalking to basketball, playground to tennis courts. Best of all the park's equipment is easily accessible by a wide range of ages & abilities.

    The park features wide shared 1km pathway that circles the park for bikes, scooters, prams, runners & wheelchairs for easy rolling. The flat & well-maintained path also gains access to the playground & purpose built equipment. The fully fenced playground offers lots of play equipment including flying fox, table tennis & ping pong table, play structures for all ages, digger seesaw, bucket, classic & disc swings,

    There is a fenced off-leash dog park at the western end of Blackman Park along with a purpose-built agility area just for dogs, water tap & covered bench seating for spectators.

    The park has a 250 on-site parking spaces with free all-day parking. There are covered picnic tables, BBQ grill, facilities, accesible toilets with ramp access.

    There is also a cricket pitch, 4 x cricket training nets, basketball court, fitness equipment area for all ages, sporting oval & skateboard ramp. There are also indoor facilities that can be hired from the 1st Lane Cove Scout Group and Lane Cove/ Longueville Guides Group. The Lane Cove West Tennis Club is also located at the park & offers three tennis courts with night lights.

    There are also river foreshore bushwalks, the simplest most accessible friendly option is the paved walk to the river, which is just 100m. There’s a further assortment of bushwalks, well signposted with the return distance for each walk including Blackman Park to The Boreen which is a 2.6km waterside bushland walk taking in rocky cliffs, bushland trees & river views.
