Cosmopolitan Centre is completely accessible, with its floors having flat surfaces and providing step-free access into the stores, while lifts provide access between the different levels of the shopping centre. The White Rabbit Café Kiaora Place in Double Bay is a cozy and stylish coffee spot designed to be welcoming and accessible to all. It features wide doorways for easy wheelchair access, with a flat and wide main entryway that accommodates strollers and mobility devices. There is a side entrance with a narrower threshold that might be able to fit your device. You can sit outside facing the shopping center, in a pedestrian area that is very peaceful and enjoyable on a sunny day. The inside of the venue may appear a bit small, but it’s spacious enough to view the large-print menu displayed at the counter. However, you can always be served by your waiter in the terrace area.

Public toilets are located inside the Roma Parade precinct and are fully accessible at a flat level. The door is not automatic, so keep in mind that the accessible toilet doors need to be pulled open and locked manually. Toilet handrails are located on the right-hand side of the room.

Disabled parking spots are free to use in the main shopping center parking area, accessible from Kiaora Road. This parking area is located directly opposite the café, across the pedestrian area.

Song Bird is an upscale restaurant offering Chinese cuisine infused with Australian influences, housed in a heritage-listed 1960s venue. While there are steps at the main entrance of the restaurant, there is a step-free side entrance to the venue located on Bay Street. Inside the venue, there is lift access to the different levels of the restaurant and a relative amount of space between most tables. There are accessible toilets inside the restaurant, and accessible parking spaces are available 100m away inside the Cosmopolitan Shopping Centre.

Song Bird

Guilfoyle Park is a small, shady park that features a community market at the square every Thursday. The grassy section of the park does not have any pathways, but the park square has a flat, paved surface suitable for wheelchairs. There are no accessible toilets or accessible parking located directly at the park, but they are both available across the road from Bay Street inside the Cosmopolitan Shopping Centre.

The place is easily accessible and easy to find along the street. You can find one accessible parking spot along the road opposite and in front of the restaurant in the Queen street Whoollara. There are no outdoor tables since the sidewalk is narrow; however, you can access tables of average height inside the restaurant. The restaurant has enough space for people, although the distance between tables is small. Orders can also be made from outside the restaurant for pickup.

The Wolharra Hotel is a large pub located in the heart of Wolharra, offering a variety of distinctive Australian pub dishes, drinks, and special deals. They also host events during the week to capture your attention and keep you entertained.

The main entrance to the hotel is flat and wide, providing easy access for wheelchairs. The lower level of the venue is easy to navigate, with plenty of seating options available. You can place your order at the bar, and the staff will bring it to your table, or you can request assistance from your table if needed.

A lift is conveniently located in front of  the main entrance, allowing access to the upper level. Upstairs, you’ll find accessible restrooms close to the open garden area. When you come out of the lift, go straight on and see the garden area in front of you, then on your left, you will see the accessible toilets.

You can follow the numerous signs all along the venue to guide you towards the most accessible areas.

The entire venue is wheelchair accessible, with generous spacing between tables, making it easy to choose the most comfortable seating for your needs.

The only area that is not wheelchair accessible is the smoking area, which has a step. However, if you’d like a smoking break, you can always take the lift back downstairs and step outside for a moment

Woollahra Hotel

Please note that while the café may not appear accessible at first glance, as it is located up a few steps on a different level from the street, the staff are available to assist you upon arrival. They will deploy the portable ramps provided at the venue to help you navigate the steps leading to the seating area.

The area is not very large and does not have much space to manoeuvre. However, depending on your needs, you may still be able to enjoy a nice coffee or breakfast. Please note that there is no accessible toilet on the premises, but accessible parking can be found approximately 100 metres from the café. A ambulant accessible restroom and multiple designated accessible parking spaces right at the front make this venue exceptionally welcoming and convenient for most guests.

The café is elevated above the sidewalk and accessible via stairs, but a convenient ramp on the left side ensures wheelchair and disabled access. It features a spacious outdoor seating area and a step-free entry to the indoor dining space, which is equipped with plenty of movable tables and chairs. Additionally, the café includes a fully accessible restroom for disabled guests. The restroom is located inside the hotel next door, ask reception and they will lead you towards the right until the end of the corridor, where accessible toilets can be found. While there are numerous temporary street parking spaces nearby, there are no designated disabled parking spots.

Shuk Elizabeth Bay

Elizabeth Bay Café is a cozy, welcoming spot on a busy corner of Elizabeth Bay, loved for its specialty coffee and great breakfast options.

It is a little neighborhood café that invites you to have a great day with its vibrant charm. The outdoor seating is perfect for relaxing with a view of the leafy streets, and the menu often features fresh, seasonal ingredients.
 

The main disadvantage of the venue, there’s a prominent step at the entrance, and the inside space is a bit tight, you can still enjoy the laid-back vibe outdoors or grab a takeaway on your way to the Potts Point Market on Saturdays.

After enjoying a nice stroll around the neighbourhood, you can easily stop by the café and follow the footpath to the small park nearby, which has gardening activities and a dog-friendly space. Perfect for taking a breather from the city's hustle and bustle!

While the café has a step at the entrance and isn’t accessible, you can always grab some takeaway and head over to the park. The nearest accessible toilets are right in front of the park at the police house building. After your visit to the café, just follow the curb to Potts Point Square, where you’ll find public restrooms that include accessible features, right in front of the Park. Enjoy your day out!

St. Blue Cafe - Coffee and Food

Greenknowe Café is a charming perfect spot for a quick coffee break or to seat peacefully inside its picturesque setting or in the terrace allowing guests to savour their food while enjoying the surrounding environment.

The venue is situated on a gentle slope, featuring a ramp that connects the footpath to the café, making it accessible to all guests, regardless of their mobility needs.  The threshold of the door presents a little bump which should not be a problem. Seating arrangements include options for both indoor and outdoor dining, with tables spaced apart to accommodate various accessibility requirements. Although there are some obstacles within the venue, navigation is generally straightforward, allowing easy movement throughout the space.
 

The toilets are inaccessible. If you can use them, they may present some obstacles for mobility devices, as the hallways are quite tight and narrow. Additionally, the venue often keeps items along the corridor leading to the restrooms. We recommend asking the staff for assistance to make the path more accessible; however, we cannot guarantee that this will be possible, depending on your needs. While the toilets are at flat level (the corridor is also flat), they may not be easy to use due to the lack of handrails and space to move a wheelchair in the restroom area.

Greenknowe Cafe

Saint Peter is an accessible pescatarian restaurant located on Oxford Street in Paddington.  The venue offers step free access but the restaurant has limited space with only 22 seats available.  

There is a fixed 12-metre Carrara marble-topped bar, with kitchen on one side of the bench & diners on the other with moveable brown leather stools.  The open kitchen allows the chefs more cooking space, while also giving diners an opportunity to watch the action.

The wine list emphasises Australian makers, & cocktails use locally made gins and whiskies. There's a bar area to sit at, if you're just looking to stop by for a drink & a snack.

Accessible parking can be found at The Gordon on Newcombe Street.  An accessible toilet can be found around 2km away with adult change at the Australian Museum on William Street.

Whether you're a ramen enthusiast or trying it for the first time, Bones Ramen offers a delightful dining experience in the heart of Kings Cross.

The restaurant is located on the hill of Bayswater Road and is mostly accessible from the footpath. The entry features a flat surface that transitions into a slight step on one side of the door threshold, which is manageable to navigate with a bit of assistance if needed. Otherwise you can always have some food in their outdoors area. The outdoors tables are quite small and the available spots are on the hill. However, if you can manage a slight steep hill, you can always enjoy their food.

While the dimensions of the entry are not large, they are sufficient for entry. Once inside, the space is somewhat limited, but there is often the possibility of finding a table for you and your guests upon entry.
 

Please note that they do not have accessible toilets, but you can attempt to enter them since the path from the main dining area is relatively easy.

Toilets are located on the right-hand side of the venue, and you won't get lost on the way to the restrooms. There are two restrooms, both equipped with handrails and enough space to maneuver a device.

Franca in Potts Point is a chic restaurant that mixes the charm of a French brasserie with modern Mediterranean vibes. You can find Franca on Macleay Street, right next to other great restaurants and bars, making it a perfect spot for a meal or grabbing a drink with friends on the weekends. It's slightly elevated from the street level, so to enter the venue, you'll need to locate the ramp that leads to the complex. After passing the restaurant Parlar, you’ll see Franca at the end of the hallway.

The doors are wide open, and the entrance is flat, making it wheelchair friendly. There are tables on both sides, and the staff is always happy to help you find a spot. If you wanted to seat outside in its terrace while watching pedestrians on Macleay street, you can stay in the outdoor area.

As for the restrooms, they’re not specially designed for accessibility. The doors are wide, they open manually, and the space inside can be a bit cramped.

Franca

Potts Point Hotel  is a welcoming choice for an inclusive night out in Sydney’s vibrant Kings Cross area. The venue is fully accessible, with a lift connecting all levels for convenient movement throughout. The only inconvenient is that entry for mobility devices is at the back of the building. Let management know that you are coming so they can prepare and assist you on arrival.

The alfresco area is fully accessible from the front door if you are coming from Darlinghurst Road and it provides a pleasant experience, allowing guests to place orders directly from their table. If needed, management is also available to assist with ordering and table service.

The accessible entrance is located at the back of the venue. Guests can enter the lift via Earl Place, where there's easy drop-off access through the loading dock. The lift connects to all levels, and accessible restrooms are situated near the lift on the ground floor, offering direct access. You can freely roam around and use the lift to go to the restroom if you have ordered too much water from the bar.

La Bomba Cafe and Restaurant is a Spanish Inspired cafe, right into the bustling heart of Potts Point. It is a quaint cafe with its Mediterranean essence, that invites locals to soak up the morning sun in a charming breakfast atmosphere in their bright terrace. It has a strong community vibe and features a diverse range of breakfast and lunch options.  The inside is not accessible, however most people decide to seat outside as their preference.


The cafe aims to be accessible and welcoming to all guests with a large open and outdoor seating section which is perfect for the warmer months. The outdoors area is perfect for mobility devices. However, please be advised that to access the main part of the cafe there is a step up and no ramp.


There is unfortunately no accessible toilet on the premise.

La Bomba Cafe & Restaurant Potts Point

The cinema is fully accessible, with accessible seating available with no steps or other barriers from the entrance. These seats and spaces are reserved for customers who have a genuine need and are only released by cinema staff in person at the cinema or over the phone.
For hard of hearing or visually impaired the auditoriums are setup with the Fidelio headset & neck loop options.  These receivers are available at the box office when tickets are purchased.  The neck loop option works in conjunction with the hearing aid + the headset has adjustable volume to boost the dialogue levels.


Palace Chauvel Cinema

The Rose Bay ferry wharf is built sturdy with wide passageways and sufficient space for wheelchairs in the boarding area. Except in cases of extreme weather, the wharf is normally well protected against the impacts of waves and water movements. The wharf is connected by pathways to nearby Lyne Park.

It is located on a wide footpath, so there’s plenty of room outside, and while there are stairs at the main entrance, there’s a lift right on the left side of the building for anyone who needs it. 

The lift takes you straight upstairs, where everything is clearly marked for a smooth experience.

Inside, there’s loads of space, and the bar is not so far from the lift entrance. With wide paths between tables and easy access to accessible bathrooms, with handrails at the back of the first floor, you can order right from your table, and the friendly staff are always around to help, making sure you have a relaxed, enjoyable time at Penny’s!

Pennys Hotel

Fratelli Paradiso is an accessible Italian restaurant & wine bar located in Potts Point.  There is step free access to the venue with level paved lead-in pathway.  

There is both fixed & moveable seating options along with a bar area with stools & outside seating & tables. There is limited space so when the venue is busy, maneuvering may be a little troublesome.

Accessible toilets can be found just over 1km away at the Australian Museum & NSW Parliament House which also feature Changing Places adult change facilities & Westfield Sydney Level 5 which offers adult change facility.

There is limited street parking, closest accessible parking is at The Domain St Mary's Road which is over 20 min away.
