Accessible Playground In Raymond TerraceBettles Park, Adelaide St
Bettles Park is located just off the Pacific Highway on Adelaide Street, Raymond Terrace.
Surrounded by a large grassed area the park features a toddler, regular & spider swing, two slides (small & large), roundabout, balance logs, rock climbing wall, poles, net hammock, & ropes.
The playground flooring is bark with level concrete pathway around the park & one picnic table. There are regular toilets onsite, accessible ones can be found at Boomerang Park No. 2. A small car park can be found close to the playground accessed via a concrete pathway.
As a point of interest, located across from Bettles Park is historic Sketchley Cottage & Museum. Sketchley Cottage was built in 1850 by ex-convict William Sketchley, and is currently open on the fourth Sunday of every Month from 10am to 2pm as well as Thursday mornings from 9:30am to 12 noon (February to December).
