Accessible Playground In Cranbourne RoadBallam Park Reserve Playground

    Ballam Park features two playgrounds at separate play areas at opposite ends of the park., 30 hectares of open areas and sporting fields including a premier athletics track, AFL, soccer & cricket along with outdoor gym equipment.

    On the Eastern side of the park is a wooden structure full of climbing walls, slides, bells & tunnels surrounded by large trees for shade along with numerous shaded rotundas.

    On the Western side is the adventure park with a skate park, metal climbing bars, basketball court, in-ground mini trampolines, flying fox, swings, tunnels, tennis wall & a seriously wide slide. There is an accessible carousel & wide flat pathways around the park for easy rolling accessibilty along with paved walking trails.

    There are four new BBQs with eight hotplates, three new shelters, ten picnic tables, drinking fountains, multiple benches dotted around, accessible toilets onsite & car park.

    There is both dog friendly on-leash & off-leash areas along with a dog agility park with hurdles of differing heights, jump through hurdles, balance beams, a crawl tunnel, weave poles bridge and sit-stay platforms. There is also a grassed area with picnic facilities, seating and a drink tap with dog bowl.

    The Park is also home to Ballam Park Homestead, an historic home and museum from the 1850s run by the Frankston Historical Society.
