Divided into three spaces, Taki features a topographic tatami to the left of the restaurant, a kitchen surrounded by fresh produce in the centre, & to the right, the main dining room. Panels of pine timber & stone finishes define the mood in the dining spaces, with sets of mirrors along the walls that merge the boundaries.

Italian & Sons is an accessible Italian restaurant located on Lonsdale Street in Braddon.  The step free entry is accessed via the rear entrance to their wine bar, Bacaro. The front entrance has three steps to the entry door. 

Inside the restaurant is unfixed tables & chairs with the best seats in the house being next to the front window overlooking Lonsdale Street, or next to the open kitchen beside the retro Italian posters lining the wall.

There is a substantial wine list with a helpful regional map of Italy to explain the selections, but the waitstaff are particularly knowledgeable on the subject.

Tuckshop Tamada is a takeaway restaurant serving third generation affordable, authentic Thai Food.  Tucked away on Bible Lane in Civic (next door to Akiba and where Flash Eats burgers used to live).

The Tuckshop does have steps up to the counter, however the staff are friendly & am sure would come down to take an order.

So far, Tuckshop Tamada is only open for weekday lunches. But business hours may expand into dinner service depending on demand. The family also have a permit for outdoor seating which is something they will organise soon.

Gus' Place is an accessible cafe located on Bunda Street in the heart of Canberra city offering step free access.  It opened in 1969 & later became the first outdoor pavement cafe in Canberra.  It is one of the oldest and best known cafes in Canberra and one of the first European-style cafes in Australia with both outdoor &  indoor dining areas.

Marble & Grain is an accessible European Steakhouse on Mort Street in Braddon offering step free entry via paved level pathway approach.   Working with seasonal Australian &  local produce they aim to deliver a paddock-to-plate menu along with craft beers on tap & an extensive wine list

The venue features easy access to the polished marble bar, dark timber panelling, exposed concrete walls, soft leather freestanding seating, high tables with stools & space to move around.

The venue also offers outside covered seating, two outdoor courtyards & the Muster Room which can be hired as a relaxed, open-air hangout for a casual event space for up to 50 people.
